  1. This is so true. The players wanted to prove that there was collusion going on with the owners regarding FA. The players thought that with an uncapped season, that owners would go wild throwing big bucks at the FAs. Little did they realize that owners are tired of getting burned by overpaying for FA busts, so it has become natural for owners to become more frugal concerning FA. As others mention, I am wondering is when the two sides will actually consider the fans and quit jacking up prices of tickets, merchandise, concessions and TV contracts. Only when other teams besides Jacksonville start showing dwindling attendance figures and companies pull their season ticket accounts.
  2. Truly sad news. Always like him as a player, commentator, spokesman and actor. RIP.
  3. There are no guarantees that Spiller will be an elite back. Yes, he has a ton of potential. The Bills have too many needs to even entertain taking Spiller. We are more than OK with Jackson and Lynch. This:
  4. I just hope that the Bills don't get set on taking a left OT and this is the only guy left, if there happens to be a run on tackles. We have plenty of other holes to fill, so getting stuck with another lazy a$$ for an OT would not be a good way to kick off the Buddy Nix era.
  5. The people that live there are stupid.
  6. Then why did you provide the conclusion that the Bills may sign T.O.? Just to show that Pittsburgh residents are idiots for the most part? We already knew that. Thanks.
  7. So, he only beats up good looking women?
  8. singing the Clemson alma mater
  9. Again, who do you trust? Schefter tweet:
  10. per Schefter tweet: Wondering what impact this will have on the draft? Less likelihood of the Rams taking a QB? Suh has to be the choice.
  11. Sounds like Ben should have roomed with Tiger at the sex addiction clinic.
  12. It was a 5th round pick
  13. Kind of crazy of the Seahawks then. I'd be talking to the Broncos for trading something. Doubt they'd sign him to an offer sheet.
  14. Do you honestly expect Seattle to trade the 6th pick overall for Brandon Marshall? I'd guess you're talking about swapping 6 and 11, which is basically equivalent to a later 2nd round pick. That still may be a bit much for this trouble just waiting to happen type player.
  15. Who do you trust more? I'll go with Schefter.
  16. I just want to see a solid Offensive Line in front of whoever is taking snaps. In the meantime, the seers can spare us the possibilities. I'd love to see someone who has solid basis for starting a thread instead of saying "hey everyone, I had a crazy dream last night". No need to apologize to you if it does happen, because I also recognize the possibility, along with the 100 other speculative threads about QB's coming to Buffalo. I just want something more than "trust me". Dig?
  17. Please change your name to nostradamus so we can hold you in the proper esteem. Sure, there's a chance of trading for Thigpen, given the Chan Gailey/KC connection. Doesn't take a friggin seer to suggest the possibility. Should we just start a thread dedicated to your prophecies?
  18. So does al qaeda. Not exactly welcoming either with open arms. Trust me! Did you get your insight from the cleanup crew at OBD?
  19. Are you referring to this comment? Wouldn't necessarily say he's laughing it off. I don't think Nix is really that high on him. I take it as saying he has a better shot at playing time in Buffalo than he does in SD. Saw that Drayton Florence talks to him. He'll be able to give him a heads up on both Buffalo and Jacksonville.
  20. Leaning towards retirement. Not much to discuss.
  21. Charlie Whitehurst passed for 300 yards twice in two years at Clemson, threw for 18 TD's and 27 INT's. Not too impressive of a resume. Giving up a 3rd round pick for this guy? Desperate move.
  22. Maybe someone should get Davis a teleprompter
  23. I have heard the same. Kelly's group has already filed and been approved by the NFL to purchase a team. BTW, the guy that started this thread is the same that called Marv Levy the worst GM in NFL history, so you know he has just a little bit of a negative mindset.
  24. See Mike Williams. Congrats to Orakpo for breaking the Texas bad mold. I'm wondering if Penn State should be passed that torch now.
