  1. Agreed. Why give into their demand for a top ten pick? Give them a low-ball of a second and see if they bite. If they're serious about dumping him, they'll consider it. No way should we give up a top ten pick for him. We still need to address the slighty large hole on the left side of our OL. Hell, offer them our problem child, Marshawn with a pick. Not anything more than a 2nd.
  2. and they used to be the Buffalo Braves, so that makes sense. Seriously, we have no marquee players. The only interest in this team would come from drafting a former heisman winner.
  3. You lost me at "McShay's Latest Opinion". It's truly worthless. He must be a nephew to one of the higher up's at ESPN. Someone added this to Wikipedia. I guess no one has noticed for six days now. McShay wikipedia
  4. My girlfriend's 12 year old daughter showed us a clip of Dane Cook on YouTube. She thought it was hilarious. We made her turn it off because of the profanity. Honestly, the guy does suck for having a headlining tour. He should be at a comedy club at best.
  5. Lynch should be traded for something of value and not given away like Holmes was. If we don't get as much as we did for McGahee, we shouldn't trade Lynch. We still will blame Ralph and co for not pulling the trigger on deals like getting Holmes. It's low risk, and yet he can't do it. Why? Because he's worried about the integrity of the franchise??? No, because no one wants to be here. We have become the Pittsburgh Pirates of the NFL.
  6. This would sound like a good draft scenario. We'd get a potential franchise QB and an OT to protect him. It sounds like Washington has behaved and it's good that he went through this. It's a twisted tale for sure, but he may have learned his lesson and got his act together. There are some pretty messed up kids raised in sheltered homes and small towns. Good article on sportsfanlive.com. Thanks for the link to the thread.
  7. I have not heard much about Tony Washington. Do we take Claussen first, then Washington? I see that they have Washington as early as the 2nd round, but he might be there in round 3. How's this for a draft deterrent...Washington has character issues. He was convicted of having consensual sex with his 15 year old sister when he was 16
  8. Tweet from mortreport: So, the Bills wouldn't be THAT stupid
  9. I kind of like what I saw of Huggins in the preseason last year. Not that he'll be a starter, but I thought he did pretty well when he got the chance to play.
  10. How will some folks on TSW support their arguments now? Wikipedia crashes
  11. Didn't hurt Mark Sanchez to be a one year starter, but the numbers that Brown put up don't give me a good feeling about him to draft in round 4. If he lasts until the 5th, sure, take a chance on him.
  12. Whetever the criteria is that they're using, the Bills FO must pay attention. 5 and 6 at ILB and Dwan Edwards is #18 for 4-3 DE's and two above Terrell Suggs. Cornell Green is better than anything we had last year, though he is a pretty bad #48 at Tackle.
  13. I was hoping that the Bills were bringing him in for the open competition at QB.
  14. We signed Hangartner, so I guess they consider that to be the offset for losing Greer.
  15. This country's problem goes way beyond just healthcare, but the idea of government dictating healthcare is just one more steep hill for the proverbial snowball to roll down. Medicare is filled with fraud. WSJ 10/28/2009 Now, we're giving them a bigger piece of the pie? An inefficient government run program is going to all of the sudden be run as a tight ship under ObamaCare? If people would take the time that they do to figure out how to defraud the government, and put that time to actually be productive, we'd be way better off. More and more Physicians are dropping Medicare because what the government pays on a claim does not cover their expenses. Welcome to Canada. Goodbye Medical students. The Medical profession will not pay, and we'll be stuck with fewer physicians. I'm not even delving into education budgets being cut everywhere, which may lead to poorly trained medical personnel. That's a whole different discussion. If Obama had just focused on jobs by reversing the outsourcing, more Americans would have jobs, we'd have a bigger tax base and those who are actually willing to work for a living would have health insurance through their employers. We truly have become an idiocracy today. Thank you politicians and lobbyists, gotta love em.
  16. Are we talking about Posluszny?
  17. Nice backpedal. Just wait until he's cut. He doesn't have to rework his contract if he's traded. If the opportunity of starting is his incentive, Buffalo would be his best option after he's been cut.
  18. Is he going to get the key to the city that T.O. left behind?
  19. Very nice debut on TSW. Byrd does a great job reading where the QB is throwing. That is why he gets interceptions. QB's have been known to make an errant throw or two. I think it's nap time for garbo.
  20. When a golfer since he was a little kid has had nothing but breaking Jack's all time majors record on his mind, you knew he wouldn't pass up the Masters. Good for golf, without a doubt. I'm sure CBS and ESPN are ecstatic.
  21. If anyone would know about this guy, Buddy Nix would. The Bills apparently are not going after him. That says a lot.
  22. We took in a lot of rule changes from the last olympics, I'd like to see this one instituted also. Teams aren't as motivated to settle a game during regulation. Sabres have had 17 of 65 games go to OT this year. I'm sure that's not the high in the NHL either. And hell yes, Buffalo deserves a Stanley Cup!
  23. Cue the flood of foreign doctors. I look forward to the curry aroma as I'm getting my prostate checked.
  24. You don't think businesses have a salary cap? It's called an annual budget. And they don't have to institute it league wide. They establish it on themselves if they want to avoid bankruptcy. Sorry, bad analogy. You don't think that sometimes it's in your best interest to give up freedoms? Tell that to the workers now who submit to an across the board pay cut rather than having a layoff. Sometimes, it needs to happen. I know that there can be layoffs that follow, but that can be a whole other thread to start talking about the state of the ecomony. Unfortunately with the NFL, they are under the impression that they are exempt from the effects of a struggling economy. BTW, no cap has worked really well in baseball This go-round, both sides must address the issue of putting a cap on rookie salaries.
