  1. What does being a fifth round pick have to do with anything? Jason Peters was undrafted. Players do develop after college. The problem here is playing only 11 of 16 games and having to see a foot specialist. Does not bode well for a big trade right now unless the Bills want to incur a huge injury risk.
  2. Adam_Schefter RT @rmsmylie: Some blogs reporting Gaither to the Bills for a 2nd is done pending a contract extension. Can you confirm? ... Not true.
  3. So, does this mean Buffalo Wings aren't as fattening as first thought? Tex-Mex cuisine on the other hand resposible for 5 of the top 9 fat laden cities. Honestly, I think this is a stupid survey. I say this because Dallas is #4, Arlington, TX is #54 and Ft. Worth is #66 and they are all pretty much the same area.
  4. Those that have a total lack of integrity will exercise power for their own special interests, whether it involves race, friendship, business association, religion etc...they can justify anything in their minds. Sounds like many a politician.
  5. I'd be questioning his sanity
  6. I can't say that the first accuser has much credibility. The second has no track record and no pattern of behavior that says she was lying. The first case is stalled, but it is still in play. 1st case still pending I wouldn't go as far as to say McNulty has a good chance of winning. The best thing that happened to her case was the second incident. Otherwise, there is no basis to her claim, IMO. Still, Ben has a real problem in the fact that he puts himself in these situations. As of right now, though, I haven't seen anything that would make me think that Ben didn't assault the second girl. The NFL's harsh suspension tells me there's more to the story than we all know. I doubt the NFL would suspend Ben 6 games for encouraging underage drinking only or just having supposed "consensual" sex in a public bathroom.
  7. I'd say the fact that two women have accused him is pretty damning. I don't see many other NFL players getting accused of rape multiple times, and God only knows what goes on in their day to day lives. I was in Ben's corner after the first incident in Tahoe, but this one, I'm not so sure. If you read her actual statement, instead of the interpretations of what happened that were being reported, it was pretty clear she thought she was raped, and she knew sex had occured. Accuser's statement
  8. The CFL and AFL are completely different. I wasn't comparing those two leagues in as much just saying a practice squad CFL QB has little chance to make an NFL roster. I think Harrell's skill set would be better suited for the faster paced AFL. Agreed, until Harrell does something, you can't compare him with Warner, other than they both didn't make the NFL in their first try.
  9. Barring an injury or some other unforeseen circumstance, of course. I agree that the three QB's mentioned are pretty much locks. Harrell needs a chance, and I don't think serving as a clipboard toter is going to give it to him. He would have had a better shot in Buffalo, I think we could all agree. AFL or UFL?
  10. NOOOOOOOO!!!! I think Leach getting hired in College Station would be the first sign of the apocalypse.
  11. He was on the practice squad and couldn't even make a CFL roster, but he'll have a good shot at the NFL At least Warner got a shot to play in Arena Football and obviously made the most of it. Harrell's game would be best suited for Arena Football, and if he could prove himself there, maybe he'd have a shot at the NFL. Right now, he's nothing more than camp fodder.
  12. Tim Russert's 60th birthday would have been this Friday. I agree no matter what, he'd be saying GO BILLS!
  13. Stevie Wonder is skeptical about your source
  14. Exactly. If the blackballing is occurring, it would be verbal communication. Still, I do think one team would give him a chance. Odd that he hasn't been given a chance as an undrafted FA seeing that some opinions had him as high as the 2nd round. I have to agree that something may be going on.
  15. The guy is trying to get his s**t together, if you read his story. I don't understand why a team won't take a flyer on him.
  16. Stop gap. Adams is the answer for one year. We shouldn't overpay out of desperation (see Langston Walker and Derrick Dockery)
  17. You'd have to say he's got the pedigree to do well, if they can just get him to have a bit of a mean streak. Having Olympians are parents has helped some other pro athletes. Not saying he'll be as good as Ovechkin in hockey or Yao in basketball, but athleticism is in his blood. Now the Bills need to harness it. It will be interesting to see if anyone in China will stand up and notice. Great PR move if nothing else, but I do think there's potential.
  18. Nothing says "I'm an a-hole" more than comments like this. 99% of us appreciate any insight. Thanks, allday.
  19. I do like McCoy too, and I also share the concern about his noodle arm. He is accurate and is a winner. He's just as mobile as Tebow.
  20. +1 Gimme a break. Denver spared us a very dumb pick. Thanks Broncos!
  21. It would take a swap of our 2nd and a swap of our 3rd round pick for theirs to get the Colts #31 pick according to the draft value chart.
  22. I'm hoping the Bills FO is posturing, so that someone else will trade up into the #9 spot to get Spiller. That's the only thing that makes sense to me with so many other holes in our team to fill. RB is not a glaring need for the Bills. OT, DT, QB are. Dan Williams should be our man.
  23. I didn't say that. Offer Lynch and a pick for Big Ben.
