  1. Would find this hard to believe, but I'm sure Pete Carroll would be salivating at the propect of this coming true.
  2. Why not Brown to the Practice Squad? Has he really shown anything to make any other NFL team jump on him?
  3. Good thing he's got a day job
  4. Where'd you pull this statement from? Leinart wasn't a fit, and the Bills had Whitner targeted all along. They didn't really consider taking Cutler. 2006 draft
  5. 83 Evans, Lee WR 5-10 197 29 7 Wisconsin 84 Hardy, James WR 6-5 220 24 2 Indiana 17 Jackson, Chad WR 6-1 223 25 3 Florida 13 Johnson, Steve WR 6-2 202 24 3 Kentucky 19 Jones, Donald WR 6-0 214 22 R Youngstown State 86 Nelson, David WR 6-5 217 23 R Florida 11 Parrish, Roscoe WR 5-9 178 28 6 Miami 87 Rhea, Aaron WR 6-1 202 1 Stephen F. Austin St. 18 Roosevelt, Naaman WR 6-0 189 22 R Buffalo With our lack of Tight End depth, I'm thinking he's still around, for now.
  6. I wouldn't describe special teams as excellent from what I've seen in preseason. They were excellent under Bobby April. I actually do look forward to a bit more of an offense this year thanks to Gailey, but the Bills are limited by their QB situation and an offensive line that is still very raw and very unproven.
  7. I feel so bad for Ralph. Ten years of skimping on front office personnel who made bad decisions has resulted in this. Stevie Wonder saw this coming.
  8. Is anyone outperforming Edwards in preseason...NO! Brohm will hopefully get his chance to run with the first team this week. Fitzpatrick sucks. There will be no run to almost make the playoffs this year. Who are you kidding? All of our QB's suck for the most part. We're just looking for the QB that will do the best on a team destined to be the worst, or one of the worst in the league this year.
  9. Personally, I would hope Trent Edwards is not on the field focused on a section of fans heckling him while practicing. Gailey hears it on the sidelines, so that's why he's addressing it, and not Edwards. Good for Chan. Yes, I do wish Edwards was as fiery as Kelly or Flutie, but he's not. He hasn't done anything to lose his job, so whether Bills fans like it or not, he is our QB for now. Brohm, I hope, will be #2 after all is said and done. As far as the dude showing off his hatred for Edwards, he's still mad that his homeboy, Sam Bradford is not in Buffalo. Next year is probably the year we draft a QB, and it'll probably be with the first pick. It's going to be a long 2010. When does the Sabres season start?
  10. Sure, he needs the work. Freak speed means he can run himself out of a play much quicker than the others on the D-Line. He needs to show a lot more to live up to his 5 mil/year contract. We all know Bills fan's tolerence for 1st round picks has been non-existent since 2002, especially for holdouts.
  11. Sabres, represent! Notice the old alternate jersey in the background.
  12. 5 losses - one of the Michigan teams, BC and Pitt, Utah, and of course USC. Enjoy the Guinness and Bailey's!
  13. National Championship - Boise State v Alabama Heisman - Dion Lewis Surprise Team - Mississippi #1 Pick in the Draft - Jake Locker to the Bills
  14. Tony Washington is still available
  15. They'll be running for their lives. The Flutie of the late 90's would have been perfect right now.
  16. Stallworth could have fought this and gotten off, but chose not to for the sake of the victim's family. All in all, I applaud Stallworth. Vick continues to be a dumb piece of s&!t.
  17. Did I say Edwards had a tight spiral? Clausen is not any better than any of our QB's, so that's why Troup was the better choice. Like others are saying, this fix is a couple years down the road with all the holes in our roster. I think we'll be in prime position to draft Locker, Mallett, or a stud LT.
  18. +1 With the way his balls were wobbling, he would get eaten up by the frequent windy conditions in Buffalo. I'm happier with Troup on our roster. Clausen was mediocre at best, IMO.
  19. The Saints will turn to Jamal Lewis as the article says. They won't be making an offer to get Marshawn. They still have Pierre Thomas and some guy named Bush. No need to panic down on the bayou.
  20. It's all about Revis' ego now, and his pride. I agree that the terms of Asomougha's contract make it ridiculous for Revis to expect that over that long of a deal. If Revis can get over the $28.5 mil that Asomougha got in even a 5 year deal at $60 mil, I think he could declare victory. Revis and his agent have to realize that it's the Jets cap room that won't allow for more. As this draws on, Revis is looking like an a$$.
  21. Great reply and agree 100%
  22. 2nd arrest and it probably won't be the last unless the Colts make him get help, which the article says will happen. Placing him on the inactive list sounds like at least the Colts haven't cut all ties, good news for him.
  23. Really? Inheriting a big contract for an aging player who didn't want to play in Buffalo, and he told the Bills he was contemplating retirement. Do you think teams were salivating over him months ago. He was being advised by his agent to back the Bills into a corner, most likely. I don't think he'll get much playing except maybe third downs.
