  1. If not Andrew Luck, Marcell Dareus (if he comes out) Quinn would be next on my list
  2. Best shots to win: 1) Detroit 2) Chicago 3) Cleveland Cleveland would have been the pick, but all the sudden, they're gaining confidence, especially with the shocker over the Saints. Can't say it's because of McCoy. He passed for all of what, 74 yards against the Saints. 1-15 I'm guessing.
  3. Just draft some studs on D with our picks this year, please!
  4. Doesn't sound like she is cooperating with the NFL now. It does sound like the Jets have some involvement in this whole thing. If it happened under their watch, you're right, it could open them up to sexual harassment, but I still question the timing, during the week of the Jets-Vikings game. I just would like to know who leaked the news about the texts, if Sterger did not do it. I have a feeling that this will disappear and nothing will happen to Favre.
  5. C.J. Spiller has barely gotten any playing time. To compare Chris Johnson's 251 carries as a rookie to Spiller on his way to getting about 80 his rookie season is ridiculous. Throwing away the 1st two games, Spiller has 18 carries for 104 yards. Not too shabby. I can't believe this is what people resort to b!tching about. I didn't like the pick, but he is not a bust, not even close, not after six whole games and not after this or next season. I will say I agree though, that if a rookie is going to make a contribution, especially at a skill position, it will most likely be a RB.
  6. Slow Monday at work, I guess
  7. NaPolian creating any thread = dick move
  8. Even the announcers pointed out how fast he looked. Lack of sprinting speed doesn't mean you can't have WR speed. We have three good receivers now. Four if you include Roscoe Parrish. It's a shame that we have talent there, because the upcoming draft may be very deep at WR (A.J. Green, Julio Jones, Ryan Broyles, Jeff Fuller, Terrance Tolliver, Jonathan Baldwin) if they all come out this year.
  9. Bradford beyond 2010 - Probable Pro Bowl QB Fitz beyond 2010 - Backup BTW, this is a really dumb hypothetical situation in this thread. Any more predictions on how Fitz will do this week, NaPolian?
  10. This We can get by with Fitzpatrick. He has shown he can compete. We get good players to fill our other needs, and when the right QB comes along, we take him, not out of desperation. I really hope the FO does not feel pressured into taking a QB first in the draft. Luck is the only one I think we should consider at #1 overall, if he declares. Oh, and congrats to Mizzou!
  11. Agreed. Luck and only Luck. Otherwise go Defense. We're giving up 33 points per game, let alone our other pathetic defensive stats.
  12. All I know is it seems we have some decent depth at WR. With that said, we'll be taking A.J. Green or Julio Jones with the #1 pick.
  13. Ever thought about moving to Vegas? Nice call dip****!
  14. It's a crap shoot. Someone compared Newton to Vince Young, a valid comparison. The best thing for the Bills would be a very mobile QB. The state of our OL dictates that. I have no idea who will be #1. If Newton came out, the Bills would be reaching at #1, but unfortunately, if you want a guy, you have to do that. See Tim Tebow. Vick would be a great option, especially if he can be had for less that 10-12 mil a year, and we can still use our #1 to fill another need, of which we obviously have plenty. Address the QB through FA by getting a proven QB. Sounds like the smart way to go.
  15. If a team wins, fans will come, just like any sport. This is more of a reflection of the current economy, and the NBA is being proactive by trying to cut salaries while companies quit buying season tickets. I would imagine other sports will face the same dilemma soon and contraction will become reality.
  16. I'll take Mizzou.
  17. Wow, no one on TBD has ever noticed this!!!
  18. Multiple sources are reporting the Bills play Pittsburgh. Looks like the AP missed it, not Yahoo! Seattle Times article
  19. I posted this topic in hopes of seeing someone have an aneurysm. No one with the Bills knows the difference between what it takes to be a good College QB and what it takes to be an NFL QB, so why should any of us be different? It is a slow Friday after all.
  20. Did anyone watch the Oregon blowout of UCLA last night? Darron Thomas was dropping some beautiful passes over defenders heads. Looks like he has a very nice touch. Just one more QB that we can only hope will come out early (way early in this case). Darron Thomas stats
  21. Running backs actually make sense, so does the tight end, maybe one of Boldin and Mason, not both.
  22. That idea alone has the Bills FO salivating. Honestly, looking at what's coming out, if the Bills can get a stud at any position, I'd be in favor of unloading the #1 overall. Except for Luck. I really believe he is the only franchise QB, if he's coming out. I'm not sold on Mallett, Locker or any other QB as the #1 overall. Kolb, no. Maybe a #2, but that's a stretch. Yes, we did try this with Rob Johnson, fail.
  23. And he'll have to play next week more than likely, depending on Garrard's concussion. Oh, and they're bringing back Craig Nall as Trent's backup.
