Justin Houston released to sign with contender
Mister Defense replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait--why do you feel that way?? And just ignore the 2nd best team in the NFL right now if they come a calling? You don't consider the Bills a contender yet? -
McDermott's Two Minute Defense This Year vs Past Seasons
Mister Defense replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nope, you said it was going to be ugly. And you meant, from the context of your posts, that Dallas was going to dominate the Bills in an ugly way--crystal clear. You are entitled to your opinion, but hopefully in the future you back yourself up with something more than a feeling in your bones. And then don't misrepresent what you have said, when it is clear as day, right in front of our eyes. And then you said this: "The only thing that I got wrong was that the Dallas D would pressure Josh. In fact, they did, Parsons forces Josh to dirt the ball, and throw it away several times. He played a smart game and handed the ball off." That certainly sounds like someone saying that Micah and the girls DID pressure Allen effectively--and then you add that the Bills and Allen responded to that extreme pressure by then playing a smart game and "handed the ball off". Your writing and logic (and attack) are as sound as your prediction. What one would expect reading these posts of yours... Maybe you will still get a chance to prove you are right, that the Bills cannot even compete with the girls, if they both get to the Super Bowl--but unfortunately for you, one of them ain't going, has no chance. They are the same old girls I warned you about after you first said how ugly the girls were going to beat our Bills. So take down the Zak and Micah posters, and latch onto this team, and jump on the bandwagon of this running, throwing, disciplined, extremely well coached, physically bruising team capable of beating anyone now. That is how the girls were portrayed--but you and others had it all wrong. -
Jordan Phillips out -- Should we bring Ndamukong Suh in?
Mister Defense replied to Iraq Vet's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Jones is ready for next week, a tough division game with the pats' defense playing well and a little better offense, then no. But if not, heck yeah. Good teams do that, add players that they may need, can fill in a hole, push them over the top. Stopping the run and creating chaos on the D line will be a vital element of this championship run. Yup, true, and ditto for the Bills against the pats earlier this year, a cakewalk-- and an even better team now, that they play again next week.. -
Philly has Tush Push but Buffalo has the Herd.

Loved seeing that--but at first I thought it was a bad call, was wondering why Kelce was not complaining at all. But great job of Buck/ESPN to come back to that and show us, up close, the unethical move by Kelce. Kelce wasn't going to say a word, and further call attention to this cheating--and open up a can or worms, with people going back to his snaps on short yardage to determine how often he has cheated. Cheater cheater, on a vital play for this team over the last few years. Would love to find out how often he did this over that time. Where can you check things like that, specific moments on game film, easily? -
Huuge, if true, even if he is at 70, 80% for a game or two. Putting even more pressure on QBs and greatly enhancing the run defense. If not this week, then hopefully next? Great timing , as it gives him some time to get up to speed and get ready for some serious squishing soon... To me, it is all about the strength of both lines. Looking very very good lately, and overall this year, but this would enable the defense to take a big step forward now.
-
Thanks, great stats, and this will be the key to their championship run this year. But can you get the stats for the last 4 weeks, AD, as well? As, keep in mind, those stats from the rest of the year include the offense under maybe the most incompetent OC in Bills history. Curious to see how improved they are lately..

Peacock subscription question ( Bills game related)
Mister Defense replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the Thursday night games on Prime the game is available the next day on the NFL Network (I believe), always. Will the same be true for this game as well? -
This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL
Mister Defense replied to Heavy Kevi's topic in The Stadium Wall
You own a Bills backer bar and are not showing the game there? Seems like a foolish thing to do out of principal, spite, if true! It seems it is a perfect weekend for any Bills' bar!, a day before Christmas Eve, with almost all off work for several days, the Bills on a roll, the second best team in football, fighting for a playoff spot, and people ready to party like crazy. -
Week 15, Cowgirls v. Bills - Predict the Score

Philly has Tush Push but Buffalo has the Herd.
Mister Defense replied to 298Woody's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great point, as it really does look like a herd of Buffalo, all together, plowing anything in their way. But Grundy has it right in the next post, the Stampede. Loving that, seeing players like Parsons try to tackle the player and looking like little, weak, helpless kids playing with grown men, who not only cannot make the tackle, but provide no defense at all, just pushed along or off to the side like mannequins. -

Week 15, Cowgirls v. Bills - Predict the Score
Mister Defense replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
So my prediction on here yesterday of Bills 38, girls 17, a 21 point win, which was the same 21 point differential, be more accurate? It seems so to me! I just had thought the girls would add a late game meaningless TD and that the Bills would have one more TD. -
McDermott's Two Minute Defense This Year vs Past Seasons
Mister Defense replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol Yeah, Josh was under a lot of pressure this game!! You silly goose--they didn't throw the ball much because they were completely dominating that 'scary' defense that you kept saying was going to decimate the Bills, that they would humiliate them at home, beating them in an "ugly" manner. To come back now and say how well Parsons played, that he was pressuring Allen in a meaningful way is extremely laughable. He was a non factor--TWO tackles, no sacks, 1-? pressure. No reason at all for the Bills, one of the top three teams in the NFL, to fear a QB has proven that he cannot play well against good teams, good defenses, year after year, and a fact that is even more pronounced when it matters most--in December. I fully expected the Bills to run and run and run yesterday, as that is the way the Bills new season, AD, has been progressing--they had become the best running team in the league in the AD stretch. So not a coincidence. Check out my posts from this period and all year (and last) about running the ball being the key to the Bills success, and a missing element under Dorsey. You got it all wrong--the Bills handed the girls one of their worse defeats in their history, with so many before the game saying the same silly non supported things that you were. It is the Bills who are the great scary team--and the one capable of beating any team in the NFL in the ugly manner they beat up on the girls. Get on board, throw away the girls' posters, clear your head and jump on the bandwagon again that so many others will now jump on. Once Dorsey was fired I said the team would quickly rise to their potential and they are doing that. So have confidence in the Bills now, one of the top teams in football and a clear championship contender. I did--check out this thread to see that. -
McDermott's Two Minute Defense This Year vs Past Seasons
Mister Defense replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
An "ugly", "blowout", well, yeah, you just got the teams mixed up--and all of the details. It seems you haven't been watching the Bills much lately--and didn't know anything at all about the girls' history either. You will come around soon, hopefully, and get on board. There was zero chance of dallas dominating the Bills. Zero. -
McDermott's Two Minute Defense This Year vs Past Seasons
Mister Defense replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
A few hours before kick off, do you still believe that the cowboys will dominate the Bills today? If so, how "ugly" do you think it will be for the Bills at home? What makes you think this time it will be dramatically different for Zak and the girls (than their history suggests) so that they don't just beat a good team and defense on the road but beat up on the Bills defense? -
Week 15, Cowgirls v. Bills - Predict the Score
Mister Defense replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 38, Girls 17 The Bills vary their motions and formations on offense, building on what we have seen in games AD. They run using Johnson the most they have this season and throw the ball short and intermediate to backs, tight ends, and Shakir. Then the long game finally makes a resurgence with Diggs, Shakir, Harty and/or Davis having big games. Harty is the type of quick, fast smaller receiver that Allen likes best, so I am hoping for a big game from him this week--and going forward. Could play a key role the next few months, adding another valuable weapon to Allen's arsenal. Defense confuses Dak with a variety of blitzes and stuff the hell out of their run game. We will soon see that frightened deer in the headlights look on Prescott--something we all know and love. The rain and wind and cold (not in their toasty warm giant living room now) help to make for a miserable day for Prescott and he once again caves on the road against a better team. Go Bills! (and Jets and Titans!) -
I Got It - Why We Aren’t as Good as Them
Mister Defense replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
Really/ umm, why did they look dramatically better on offense just five days later? And then continued to be a dramatically more consistent, productive and dangerous offense over the last few weeks, while looking dead in the water before that? Why do they look so much more talented now, with the same talent, if you are correct? -
But the thing you miss is that crap is not a real piece of journalism, but a only a 'man' with a vendetta, listing a slew of criticisms and then smushing these unrelated events together, connecting them (very, very poorly) to make the case against a man he hates. This person is not a journalist, any more than others with blogs are journalists, just a guy with his own site, charging others to pay for his 'work'. No true Bills' fan will ever read this idiot's writing again. He has no editor or fellow writers to give him feedback and such,to reign in his worst traits, as a newspaper/magazine/pro-online news organization would. I cannot imagine any fan of the Bills accepting this muckraking as legitimate journalism. So glad it is now being held up across the country for what it is--trash.
-
Come on, you can't seriously believe that is high level journalism, an "outstanding article"!? He just takes all of the criticisms of McDermott and somehow conflates them all together to come up with his conclusion, one he clearly has had for a long, long time, just like some posters on this site. You can do what he did to almost anyone, in any field, who is successful, as success breeds contempt--they are people with a vision, direction, and focus and don't allow others to undermine that. In no way is McDermott perfect, but he will learn and be even better moving forward--and remain the Bills coach for years. The attacks make no sense and reminds me of the hate for Marshawn Lynch, and how happy many on this site were we got rid of him, and satisfied that we at least got a 4th round pick for that 'thug' as we had a much better back in (30+ year old) Fred Jackson. While I was shocked and said it was the worst move I had ever seen the Bills make, and one of the worst trades in NFL history. I just hope that all this irrational nonsense does not start to actually matter to the Pegulas...

Week 14, Bills v. Chefs - Predict the Score
Mister Defense replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Were you in favor the Bills firing Dorsey at the time it happened? Did you think his leadership of the offense was a major problem for the Bills and a significant reason why they lost games this year? Just curious about the mindset here.. -
Yes, and especially true of someone like Dunne, whose income depends on it, on getting people excited and interested in his work so they pay him directly. Who are some of the movie directors considered most difficult to work with? Jamee Cameron Alfred Hitchcock Francis Ford Coppola Stanley Kubrick ... Men who did it their way, because they were ahead of their time and knew what they wanted. Without that, those names would be meaningless to us. I believe that like coaches like Reid and Vermeil, and Belicheck that McD will soon rise to the top.
-
Yup Search the web to find all of the stories of how horrible it is to play for Belicheck, as if the poor players were almost prisoners of war... And all the Pats and Belicheck did was win 6 Super Bowls, earn the respect of the vast majority of players who played (and coached) for him, and become the best head coach to ever coach in the NFL. Dunne cherry picked his info from the fired, dismissed and otherwise disenfranchised former Bills--you can do this to almost ANY highly successful person, across fields, because that is the price of success and of wanting things done well.

Week 14, Bills v. Chefs - Predict the Score
Mister Defense replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 38-17, the Bills taking the next step, three games into the new season, AD. They are a much better all around team than the Chiefs now. Brady did exactly what I have been calling for since the beginning of last year--run the ball, vary the formations, throw the ball to the backs, open up the entire middle of the field, and go from "outrageously predictable" to unpredictable. Last week they built on that success as I predicted as the success of the new offense against the Jets opened up the passing game, specifically, getting the ball to Davis. They built on the success of the previous week where they ran so well and threw the short and intermediate balls so well. Now it is likely that the intermediate and long routes will continue to reveal themselves. This week it is all of those things and now Diggs, Davis and Shakir with big games, with one or two of them, monster games. (And maybe Cook and Kincaid too.) The Bills will look like they have looked lately, AD, which is close to how they looked BD, while the Chiefs will look like they have looked lately. Well, I hope! Go Bills! (The next day...: after looking more closely at the Chiefs it seems that maybe one of the Bills wideouts may have a big game, as they have done a great job of stopping teams' #1 receivers. So Davis and Shakir and Kincaid and Cook (and Knox?) may need to carry the loud at least early, until the blowout is in full throttle. In any case it has been the short game, the running game, and use of the middle of the field in the AD era that have been the cornerstones of their success. Likely again today, especially early. And If the Bills can run it early with their 3 productive backs that will make it all easier, of course.) -
Greenberg - A Jets Fan - Pushing Back Against The Allen Hate
Mister Defense replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
But some of the morons on the show keep shoveling the same shi* in response, all BS, garbage. Surprised to see Ryan Clark being so adamant in his idiocy, as he seems to be a smart guy. He is way overextended though, seems to be on every ESPN show and likely cannot focus too much on facts, details. Those with Greenberg's take would destroy any of the Allen haters in a debate, based on debate points and such. The facts are almost 100% with them and the others think their ace in the hole is that a bunch of other morons are spouting the same nonsense. They just keep shoveling the BS, ignoring the facts. So glad there aren't any Bills fans on this site ignorant and stupid enough to join in the moron chorus...
