  1. Good points. The Bills were not very physical on offense under dorsey, did not intimidate anyone with their running game and overall. They did not take it to teams, so faded and faded as the season progressed. The main immediate change I wanted to see with Brady was a more diverse and physical offense, the kind that could wear down teams the way the leader, Allen, could wear them down and physically overtake them. They went for that, with their running game actually becoming a relevant, vital part of their offense, and their O line leading the way, letting them be the agressors rather than just protectors. But the Bills lacked a physical running back who could help the cause and pound it down their throats when the Bills were ready to do that. They have that back now, I think, with Davis. And with a full off season to implement his vision, and Knox finally healthy, I think Brady will do more of what you say in your post. And the receivers like Coleman, and several of the big fast wide receivers they'll have in camp this year, are the same kind of physical players. I think it is a clear pattern, focus. For the last few years I have been looking for an offense that is like Josh Allen--unselfish, tough, relentless, and physically dominant. I think this year the Bills may have that. It fits not only with Allen's traits, but with McDermott's, Brady's, Kromer's, and Beane's.
  2. Thanks a lot--then definitely keep Knox, a high caliber, starting caliber tight end when healthy--and when used effectively. I think he will be a surprisingly important part of the Bills this year--at least, am hoping for that, as he has been someone no one has been talking about, and would add another dynamic dimension to the offense. He also seems to fit well with what the Bills seem to be looking for with Coleman, a big, tough, physical player capable of winning one on one matches (when he catches). And the same can be said for Ray Davis.
  3. Thanks for the additional stats, info. I should have said: I would not be in favor of a trade if the Bills were eating a big chunk of his salary in dead cap money, am almost never in favor of doing that (but understand it for Diggs, someone they now considered detrimental to the team's success. But I would be in favor of a trade if a team paid for all or most of his salary. There are not a lot of starting caliber tight ends who can catch and block well, so may be an option there. But again, like I said, would rather he just be used much more this year than any other option. A healthy year this year is almost a must for Knox, --and, if so, think he will really rebound.
  4. Well, I don't know you, so don't know if you are nuts or not. So I'd say a 50/50 chance of this being the case? His 2023 stats: 22 catches for 186 yards. Those numbers scream for a dramatic change this year of some kind. So it does seem a trade is in order, and may happen before the season if the Bills do not plan on using Knox, targeting him as receiver, MUCH more than last year. He was the 9th highest paid tight end in the league, making $13 million, which means he made almost $600, 000 per catch. and about $70, 000 per yard gained. (Honestly, I would agree to do it for a tenth of that amount.) If not, It is the biggest waste of money on this team, the most glaring waste. What I am hoping for is dynamic use of both tight ends, as Knox's more physical game, nature, and superior blocking ability, could help to make this a great offense this year. The immensely incompetent dorsey did not know how to use one good tight end effectively so using two?, well was impossible for him. I think Brady making that kind of change so late in the year would have been pretty difficult. We should see soon if he can do so now that the offense is his own--if Knox is still around. Or, just hire me for dramatic savings. I may even accept 5% of Knox's deal!
  5. 7-10, with Rodgers in and out of the lineup and looking even more like of a shadow of his former self..
  6. He looks like the next Josh Allen, to me. Big arm, confidence, can make any throw, and an upbeat, positive and effective leader that his team seems to really like, respect and rally around. But I do hope I am wrong!
  7. Translated: "I hate the Buffalo Bills, every aspect of their team and every move they make, as I despise their leaders, McDermott and Beane. If either man said that 'the sky is blue today' I would immediately refute that and make the case for their firings based on that horrible observation. Please share my hate."
  8. I agree with what you say here about Davis, and think of Coleman of course, as another example of this. But I do get somewhat concerned at times that the character concept may make the Bills reach for a player or choose a lesser player, thinking that character may propel a player to higher level in the pros. And the Chiefs don't seem to give a hoot about character! They have won three Super Bowls in the last five years. Overall, I do think this focus has helped make the Bills a resilient and perennial contender.
  9. Had not read this previously.. Rodgers gets more and more nuts with each passing day, it seems. Cannot wait for his sorry kiester to step onto the field at the Ralph on December 29th. The fans will be ready. But again, I have confidence this nut will not be playing by that time, injured again--or in a padded room, and in a straight jacket, in Bellevue. Or both.
  10. I agree that they will surprise some, but that 'surprise' is something like 6-11, 7-10....
  11. I hope no one on this board is still fearful of this 40+ yard head case QB/GM, as many seemed to be when he was signed. Reminded me a lot of the super crazy talk around the country when the Broncos traded for Wilson, that he may help the Broncos become a contender!, giving a king's ransom for a has-been player Seattle may have waived before the next NFL season began. I was as happy as can be when the Jets signed him, and have not been disappointed--the joy rodgers and the jets keep on giving seems almost bottomless. The 2024 jets: A lame duck head coach, a lame duck GM, 'heading' a team that is run by a conspiracy theory promoting, 40 year old, narcissistic head case, clearly on the decline and coming off a major injury... The Jets just keep on giving and giving and giving to Bills' and fans of other AFC East teams.
  12. Lol! How does that quarterback comparison explain what happened to all of that amazing talent on your super talented 2015 Panthers team!? And Cam Newton was the MVP of the NFL in 2015! So wouldn't that just be the final nail in the coffin for your OP? It rips apart, even more so, your entire premise, point--and responses to the criticism of it, such as the one above. As you are now saying that our talent deprived Bills under McD and Beane were good almost exclusively because of their superior quarterback--but use 2015, the year the Panthers' QB was the MVP of the league, to say that they were a MUCH more talented team than the Bills! I l laughed out lout when I realized that was the case--and then saw the above response, laughed at both the irony and extreme contradiction now clear in your OP and your responses to it. Your OP was farcical at its surface, and much more so in closer examination.
  13. I think you just need to watch some Bills games, as apparently you have not--and do not realize just how talented this team and its coaching have been under your boys, Beane and McD, and that it s not just Josh Allen. Your OP was not focused on Josh Allen, but on the MUCH superior talent on your 2015 Panthers compared to the recent Bills' teams. It'd be great for you to answer my question in my previous post: "How can your far superior, dramatically more talented team, so not even close in your eyes, be soo good, yet still suck so badly the year before that and the year after?? Most of the players you heap praise on were on those teams too." I hope you can see that it completely undermines your OP, and main point, that you cannot respond--if they were a MUCH more talented team, where did all that amazing talent go the year before and the year after your team's seminal season?? You would be calling in the cavalry, and maybe literally!, if the Bills ever went 5-8 or 6-8-1, yet you want some of that, rather than what we have had here in Buffalo... I hope you can see how ridiculous that is.
  14. Yup, yet gain not responding to the reality I present. Go Panthers!! Good luck! Lol
  15. Well, we will continue disagreeing. But I will take my Bills any day over your 2015 Panthers. I can say that the Panthers had some high level parts in their team and also that the Bills team is superior--as they have clearly demonstrated that year after year after year. I was not comprehensive in my first post--as I believe this Bills' secondary has been superior as well. Ditto for the coaching. You don't address the 'one hit wonder' truth, the Panthers' poor record in the year before and year after--but of course not, as the entire point of the post is to trash the current Bills' leadership. That failure in itself completely undermines your main point--as my team's talent has been dramatically better at winning football games than your team's, that Panthers team, the one you emphatically state had "MUCH" better talent. If your focus and main point of your post were accurate that would not be the case, as the Panthers, not the Bills, would have the far superior record. In fact, and as you know, the Bills' record in that span is MUCH better. How can your far superior, dramatically more talented team, so not even close in your eyes, be soo good, yet still suck so badly the year before that and the year after?? Most of the players you heap praise on were on those teams too. If you think that kind of Panthers team is where it is at, and that the Bills team we have seen over the last years is not even close, go ahead and think that. Even if it is clearly wrong as the actual reality of the situation undermines that comically bizarre notion. You could have that Panthers team--I will take the Bills of the last 5 years any day. And, even with the big turnover this off season, the grrreat job this front office and coaching staff have done give me confidence that they could be a legitimate contender once again. While your far superior Panthers have one playoff appearance since your team's seminal season...
  16. Lol Yes, really good 'evidence' presented in the OP--'So PLEASE get me a GM and a coach that could field a team more like the 2015 Panthers than our most recent Bills' team, which would beat that team 98/100 times---and that goes 5-8-1 in the previous year and 6-8 the year after.' Makes perfect sense to want that kind of team and organization rather than the team we have had and will have... As most on this board realize, THAT is what we may have here in Buffalo if the irrational haters get their way. Very fortunately for Bills fans, the Pegulas, and the Bills' brain trust, are not that ignorant or stupid. An extremely sharp example of what the haters would get if they could get it.
  17. First and foremost, a superior quarterback in Josh Allen. No one, except some irrational haters would take Newton before Josh Allen. A better wide receivers group every year of the last few years for the Bills, and that may also include this coming year with the major changes-I believe it will. A better defensive line You say that Olson was great, and he was, but I believe the Bills have a better tight end room now, with two starting caliber tight ends in Kincaid and Knox. Kincaid--the all time reception record for rookie tight ends last year. (And while I think the Panther linebacker unit, with Kuechly and Davis, is better, the Bills' with Milano and Bernhard will be one of the best in the NFL this year.) The 2015 Panthers were a one hit wonder Mr. Mikie, they did not even have a winning record the year before-OR the year after--5-8-1 and 6-8. If they were such good team, and "MUCH more talented than any version of the Bills", doesn't that in itself really undermine your words in this strange post, focus? The Bills have been a championship contender for at least the last four years. And even with the significant turn over this off season they will likely be contenders again this coming year. And sorry to disappoint you, and your prayers for their firings, but a significant reason for that is the two men you despise: Beane and MCDermott--no doubt about that. And again, an extremely bizarre, wacky post, one designed just to make your point which is to spread more of your misinformation (hate) about our team's leaders. I like irreverent things; not shady attempts to spread nonsense.
  18. Did anyone else laugh out loud at t how ridiculous this post was!? I could not imagine almost anyone looking at the two rosters, and also having seen both teams play, come to your laughable, and frankly bizarre take--that the 2015 Panthers were "MUCH more talented than any version of the Bills we have seen thus far". But then I read the line, "Beane has had a good amount of time working on our roster" and realized you are simply a hater, so will, like the others, just spew out nonsense to fit your irrational narrative. (In the future could you please state your hate as your first line--so readers know what is coming, so could save themselves some time and just skip the post?) And then you end with "This was a very good Carolina team but I don't like that it appears we have a deficit against them in nearly every position." Why on earth would you be concerned with how the Bills stack up to, of all teams, the 2015 Panthers?? To almost any objective observer, almost any version of this Bills team over the last 5 years would not only stack up well against that one shot wonder, but would clean their clocks in almost any game. But somehow you see that team as not just better, but "MUCH more talented" and at nearly every position! (I just giggled like a school girl again when I wrote hat line!) Don't let your hate get in the way of the actual reality. No objective Bills fan would ever think that one year aberration was even in the same category as our current Bills team, which has been a serious and legitimate championship contender for years... But thanks for the laughs on this Friday!
  19. Hey, Mr. Chaos, can you provide any of those quotes here? I have never heard a coach say that or something similar, but only some others twisting words, concepts, to say that is what they are saying. Thank you, I appreciate it!
  20. yes, I agree, I was hoping the Bills would bring him back. He can still play, if not full time, and would be a great leader of this just-coming-together- secondary.
  21. Okay, great to hear that you are a Bills fan and really do want them to win it all... But give things more of a chance. Like this draft. The Bills spent a year, thousands of hours, flew many thousands of miles, watched thousands of hours of games, both live and on tape, as it was the sole mission of many men in the scouting department and front office to find the players that can help the Bills take the next step and win a Super Bowl. To say the Bills punted on this draft was wrong, makes no sense--especially when fans, like you and me, have likely never seen most of our new Bills play in college--and when they have not yet played a single down for our team. While no one gets an 'A' for effort, have an open mind about our new Bills, and this draft, something this team has devoted a year, and for many, most of their waking hours, to improve so they can help bring a championship to Buffalo.
  22. Macy's $79.89, of course is the answer. I assume Coleman did not intend it, but he immediately presented himself as a guy you want to talk to, get to know; real and unpretentious, funny, irreverent, joyful, and someone who does not take himself too seriously. To me, those all seem to be the opposite traits of Stefon Diggs, a man who takes it all personally, all too seriously, and relates everything back to himself. The Macy's coat is already symbolic of the difference between the two men, receivers. Diggs was becoming known as the fashion guy, someone who attended fashion shows in Paris, something that likely fans in Buffalo can relate to even less than his prima dona, nothing is good enough for me, and it is all about me, attitude. The fashion focus and Paris visits seemed to fit in perfectly with Diggs' personality. Therefore the first time we were directly introduced to Coleman, his own words, and bright yellow $79.89 Macy's coat were a breath of fresh air for Bills' fans who had had enough of our temperamental, conceited wide receiver who will never be happy or satisfied as a football player (or in life?). Most are us are grateful for the huge contributions Diggs made to the Bills, but like Josh Allen, almost all of us knew we had to move on without him, no matter the financial cost. Maybe it will mean nothing in the end, and will not add up to much if Coleman does not succeed, but that symbolism may come to define Coleman and the Bills as they take their next step.
  23. This. With 4/5 of your first five probable soon-to-be starters. Just leaving one off as it almost never works out that well. But I will add Davis, and put him near the top of the list. We saw how smart Brady was last year, to start running the ball like they meant it, and what that dynamic did for this team. Davis will take the running game to the next level and catch a bunch of passes too.
  24. No, because of what I said, that almost every single move the Bills make you rip apart as if they were the NFL team you not only were not a fan of, but hated, despised. Almost every player move, coaching move, game decision, you rip into as if this Bills team was the lowest quality, worst, least successful team that has ever played a down in the NFL. Instead of one of the most successful teams, and coaching staffs, in football over the last 5 years, one that not only wins its division every year, but contends for a championship. This year they almost beat the eventual SB winner--and with a team decimated by injuries. They "punted on the draft'! Just like your hyperbolic, crazy analysis of the Bills' players, coaches, and front office, you take what is likely an outstanding draft and trash it completely. Out of control, irrational analysis. I know you won't change your ways, but I ask you: What did the Bills do to you so that you hate everything about them?
  25. i guess that is a "yes" on the Jets too! Predict: you will have an immensely disappointing football season this coming year, again, as your preferred teams don't, again, come close to knocking off the Bills. Best Wishes! Wait, which team are you speaking of here? Dolphins, I assume-? I hope!
