  1. It is not a crisis because it has not collapsed yet. Wait until it collapses, then start working on solutions.
  2. You have to remember, people like Debbie do not want Bush to fix the problems because her side cannot take credit for it. This issue will become a problem again in the 2008 election, while after stonewalling any attempt at fixing the issues, they will say "elect me because I want to fix the problem." Her side still believes that the American people are too stupid to realize that this is happening.
  3. There are ways around the campaign finance stuff. You just need to be creative.
  4. You need to break down the ridiculous "I will only vote for the person who has a chance to win" stuff instead of voting for who they feel is the better candidate. But yet, they cannot explain how you can get a third party candidate to win when they will not vote for them.
  5. Damn, there is a magazine for everything.
  6. I live in Philly, and they are the last team I want to see win of the four listed. The Philly fans are bad now and they will be even worse if they actually won the SB.
  7. That could be possible. I know that he has been working on it for a while, and has been displaying items in the Field House before games. The goal was to create a museum and have it in the Field House permenantly. This way, people can visit it any time throughout the year. As far as being out of a job, I know that he was Director of Archives, but I think that his title has changed to something related to the Bills Backers Clubs. He has been using "anniversary" years to order to justify resources for writing the history of older teams (back to 1920) since the Bills are really not interested in stuff prior to 1960. They had some interest in the 1946-9 teams, but that is not their focus. I sent him complete histories of the 1919, 1924 and 1926 teams, and the complete history of the 1918 Buffalo Semi-Professional Football league. Denny does not have as much interest in pre-1920 stuff, but I do. Eventually I will finish my complete History of the Rochester Jeffersons. I just have to complete my Masters degree first. Denny had me bring the Western New York Professional Football Researchers Association back to life, and we were working on a detailed history of the 1946-9 teams, along with other projects. I had to give it up when I started workingon my Masters. I turned it over to Joe Marren, and I do not know the status of the organization. Most archival stuff for the museum will probably be done through this organization.
  8. I am not saying donations of money. I am talking about items to display. Most of the items of interest are in private collections. Hell, the HOF in Canton works on donations as well, not paying for their items.
  9. Denny Lynch is working on that as we speak. They need donations of items, however.
  10. I would not have a problem with NFL Network dedicating 1-2 hours per week for each team. It would be hosted by local personalities and focus on the latest news for the week, or to discuss upcoming items like FA and the draft. It would draw in ALL fans who are looking for specific information on their specific team, without delving into details of other teams. Unless you are in Training Camp and the pre-season, there is not enough information for a 1-2 hour daily show. A weekly show would be good.
  11. A smaller, loyal fanbase in a small media market is not going to pay the bills of a 24/7 network.
  12. Buffalo does not have the media market or fanbase necessary to do what the Yankees/Mets are doing. It would be tough to financially support that kind of channel.
  13. So, you would rather be reactionary than proactive? Nice. The program is doomed to fail. Why bother fixing it when we can just wait for it to collapse first, then start working on the solution that will take YEARS to impliment and cost a HELL of a lot more than it would now? Here is a thought. Let's try to find a solution now, BEFORE it collapses.
  14. No, but at least he has proven the capacity to bring something more than tired soundbites to the table. If you want intelligent responses, you need to prove that you are capable of understanding them. There is no point in anyone wasting their time when, so far, you have brought nothing of substance. Just parroting of soundbites.
  15. You're not very good at this, are you?
  16. You're just a walking soundbite, aren't you?
  17. Much less work involved. Just do something stupid and blame someone else for your stupidity.
  18. Then he will sue the makers of WD-40, for not putting a warning label on their can stating: "Do not injest with cocaine."
  19. Duct tape and WD-40 are the only tools you need. If it moves, and it shouldn't: duct tape it. If it does not move and it should: WD-40. If that doesn't work, use a REALLY big hammer.
  20. He provided what was asked for by the commanders who drew up the plan.
  21. While I agree with most of your statements, I cannot agree with: I do not see this as similar. If the vendor knew that the employee was breaking the rules and still overlooked them, then you would have a case. As far as I know, the vendor did not specifically know that this happened. The vendor is still responsible for their employees but this case is not similar, as you have suggested, to willful negligence.
  22. Great!! Now you have jinxed it.
  23. Then, why did she even audition?
  24. The governor of NJ was married, and had a kid.
  25. You two have been getting pretty close lately. What's up with that?
