    I happened to check in at just the right moment to swap out Julio on Thursday. Not going to matter as I'm getting pounded today and will drop from playoff bye to wild card game next week.

    Yup. I went to 'The Game' in Berkeley last year. Decent weather and it was fun, but nothing like seeing a game at big schools in the south or mid-west.

    I agree this is one rivalry that few would miss. ND already has the west coast rivalry with USC, and now that ND is half-ACC, non conference games are at a premium. I'd rather see them reinstate other traditional regional rivalries like Purdue or MSU. Yesterday's game looked like a high school crowd with the cold/rain in Palo Alto.

    OSU (and Alabama, etc) beat most of their vastly overmatched opponents 88-0 and people seem to like that just fine.

    Exactly. And there is a well defined pecking order for #2. The only way to change it is to expand to 8 teams, have 5 automatic conference champ bids, and some arrangement of one-loss non-champs/ND/non-power 5 fight it out for the last 3.

    I've never heard until very recently this idea that an OP is required to 'tend' to their own tread. If others felt this was a pointless and trolling thread, they should have just ignored it.

    He's 30 years old. At what point can this "troubled young man" (who's been handed more advantages than the vast majority of people) be classified as a "woman beating scumbag"?

    From watching the show it sounds like Bruce more or less acknowledged that he was a jerk in his early years and then eventually grew up and became the man he is today. That's part of what makes his story compelling. p.s. same story with Jim....and probably lots of other guys who play pro sports.

    They’re obviously a very good team, but they have feasted on a ton of really bad teams so I’d say that ranking is a little skewed.
