I don't get kicking the FG there. Run a play and give them the ball with 15 seconds left needing 85 yards. Virtually impossible. Kicking the FG opens you up to a block or a kick return TD.

The problem there is people failing to understand the meaning of the word "playoffs". Somehow we survive all those blowouts in the first round of the basketball tournament just fine. And somehow we even survived a blowout in the championship game last year. Or does that mean we shouldn't have a championship game any more, since you know, Alabama was so embarrassingly outclassed? Which would be fine with me. The best system was when bowl games had conference tie-ins and mattered. We got great match-ups and a clear champion virtually every year back then, rather than this absurdly flawed two/four team "playoff" where the opponents are hand picked based on TV ratings.

So will the Steelers if they beat us. The Browns would still have been 3 games behind and weren't going to catch up. They still have to play Baltimore too, they were never going to run table.

Probably......but if we do, the Browns were never a threat to begin with. But if we lose to a well coached team on the road, suddenly there is a significant risk of losing the WC spot to Pittsburgh.

Yeah, I don't really understand all the celebrating over Pittsburgh staying with 2 games of the Bills vs. both Pitts and Cleveland being 3 back. A Cleveland win would have been much better for us. But on a happy note, congratulation to Andy Dalton and the Bengals!!!

I don't like that decision at all. With 9 minutes to go and your defense playing well I think you punt and play field position. A FG is probably enough to win this game.

If we're assuming Buffalo beats Pittsburgh, they are >99% no matter what else happens in the AFC. But if Buffalo loses to Pittsburgh, it will be better for us if Cleveland wins today. If Pittsburgh beats Cleveland and Buffalo, they are only one game behind the Bills with tie-breaker in hand. If Cleveland beats Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh beats Buffalo, they are both 2 games behind the Bills with tie-breakers in hand.
