  1. I assume their strategy is largely dictated by how many season tickets they need to sell in that fancy new multi-billion dollar stadium. Looks like they peaked a year early! D'oh! I think most here were solidly behind Woods by the end of his time here, but IIRC most though the price tag was too high. In retrospect, when you look at how quickly the cap escalated over the past few years, he was priced appropriately.
  2. That is going to be a dumpster fire in a couple years. Huge money to Goff, who isn't good enough and Gurley, who they now realize needs to have his workload managed (no 100 yard games this season) is going to haunt them.
  3. This. I thought he was better than he was against Pittsburgh. Yes, he misses throws in every game, but yesterday he actually hit two nice deep throws and created time and space when he had to yesterday. The throw to Beasley to get them inside the ten on the last drive was a nice example. I'm not usually on the anti-OC bandwagon, but thought the play calling really hamstrung Allen yesterday.
  4. Belichick is hard to beat. He game plans better than anyone else and makes better adjustments. On offense, NE featured rugged backs Burkhead and Michele because that's what works against the Bills fast, poor tackling defense. Against a big, slow defense they'd have run James White all day. The Bills couldn't counter and so NE controlled the game. On defense, when Singletary has an effective first half. (7 rushes for 34), NE adjusts to stop him in the 2H (8 rushes for 12 yards), yet Bills don't adjust and continue to pound him for no gain series after series.
  5. Exactly. There is no ‘primary’ reason, there are a bunch of them. In no particular order, they lost because: -Josh misses throws he needs to make -Daboll insisting on running for no gain on first down every series in the second half after NE adjusted to stop it. -Bad tackling all over the field -Defensive game plan that ignored 20 years of history in how you beat Brady.
  6. In a second half full of futile rushing attempts, that one was the worst of all. What did they think, it was Singletary’s fault they had been stuffed the last six times they tried running left?
  7. The Mets usually punt on the whole season by July.
  8. Might help his development if they didn’t wait till it was 3d and 10 to let him try a pass.
  9. Didn’t end up meaning anything. Bills still ended up with a first and goal at the seven. How they ended up surrendering the ball at the 15 four plays later is what deserves discussion.
  10. Yuck. Running Allen in the exact same place Singletary has been stuffed nine times in a row isn't what I was looking for on first down.
  11. Yup....the momentum has clearly switched back to NE. Frustrating they won't consider any other plays but that stupid RPO that hasn't worked all day and then a desperation heave on 3d down. Is Knox still in the game?
  12. Yup....absolutely. BB always builds a smart gameplan and Brady know how to execute. It's a tough combo to beat! Go Bills!
  13. Yup; that last possession was basically wasted. They need to keep moving the ball to win.
  14. Makes him sound like an idiot when you consider Edelman sets more screens than Draymond Green.
