A few liberal posters who only joined a relatively short time ago, provide little or no actual content beyond childish memes and repetitive responses apparently goaded DR into responding to their antics.
Once he responded to their repeated infantile posts they run to a mod to complain.
DR has a long history of providing interesting content.
I don't want to see the board lose one if its most prolific members because of the actions of a small group of instigators.
Also, the 'asshats' earned the name IMO. They open new threads where there was a perfectly good one to add to. It ends up cluttering the board with multiple threads on the same basic subject.
This is all accurate, but unfortunately DR did not manage the board shift well. Instead of just putting people on ignore once they proved themselves unworthy of discussion, he lowered his own discourse as shown by @SDS above. DR is not a guy who has historically addressed people that way, but he let his frustrations get the better of him.So I don’t know what else Scott could have done, and I’m sorry he’s had to devote so much attention here recently.

I love how Romo said the AFCE race is going to go “right down to the wire”.
I was like, uhhhh nope, it’s all over.
Seriously??? NE wins that game w/ Newton.Defense was terrific and they had something like 180 yards on the ground. The Bills will have a huge challenge in a few weeks.

I need less than 3 more points from the Chiefs D! A 12 minute KC drive would be great!
Never ever has a fantasy loss been so satisfying. Suck it hard Edelman, you douchebag.- 1

I can’t believe NE called a play that required him to stand in the pocket for more than two seconds.
He’s like bad college QB that you tell “if the primary receiver isn’t open, throw it away immediately”

Ironically, Belichick can’t believe such a b.s. call would go in favor of the star QB.

Uhhhhhh........maybe we worry about finishing ahead of the team that's won the AFCE for the last 37 years before we start worrying about home field advantage in the AFCC.

You're correct Rochesterfan. #26 (who I said was the safety) was indeed the right CB who is following McKenzie across the formation, but way too deep and way too late that he never would have arrived on time (to stop the first down). But McKenzie was his assignment, so makes sense that he would have seen the play the whole way, with his eyes on McKenzie. He does force McKenzie out of bounds, but after 14 yards and the first down.
#27 (the player I noted as the CB late to recognize the play), who ends up chasing McK from behind, was the outside left corner, lined up outside of Tyler Kroft at the start of the play. Looks like Kroft is his assignment by his initial reaction. And Kroft does a great job of freezing the corner by taking a couple of quick steps (to look like he is going out for a route) before he turns back to block the LB on the end of the line.
The DE and LB on the left side of the defensive formation watch the play run by them. LB lost contain, was slow to react, and gets blocked by Kroft.
And the safety (#38) runs down to crash the line, and sees McKenzie too late, so has lost any angle on the play.
Yes, #27 was the key defender on the play. He was cheating inside, looking for a hole to stuff rather than attacking off the edge which would not help on a straight ahead run. Once he realizes McKenzie has the ball, he's flat-footed and hopelessly beat on the edge.

The Jets owners do not like paying coaches to be gone - so although it might cause a total fan riot - if Gase and Joe Douglas have talked about the future - maybe the Johnsons keep them together. Gase stated he was not happy with the Bell signing and Darnold was not his choice - although he was brought in to groom him.
The Jets ownership must be very thankful that their incompetence has been mostly overshadowed for many years by the even worse ownership by the Dolans (Knicks) and Wilpons (Mets).

They'd both stink. Josh would be floundering under Gase and a terrible organization. Darnold would have some pieces around him but wouldn't be able to make it happen clutch time.

It's not Vegas but still pretty good and warm weather spots. Plus the Bills will be on the road again next year against the AFC West for the cross conference game which means either we go to KC which is cool, Vegas, Denver, or LA. All of the locations are pretty good for different reason.
Bar-b-que!!

Seems like the Titans forfeiting a game or two until they are all cleared would make sense.

2 - Beasley - In the first quarter, I couldn't help but notice that Beasley wasn't out there for the first few drives, even in 3-4 receiver sets. I remember thinking about how I hope this new rotation doesn't lead to dissension among the receivers, as even Brown was out from time to time. But then, Beasley strolled onto the field and picked up a key third down as he does. Then, Beasley makes a ridiculous catch in the endzone and holds onto the ball through the air in the most Beasley way. He was mentioned to be hurt in the game, but found his way back out there for another acrobatic catch later. If these guys are truly team-first players and winning fixes everything, you have to love the role he has on this team.
I thought I saw him grimace as if in pain after the second catch. I didn't notice how many more snaps he was in after that play.

The 3 big defensive plays in the second half really turned it around. Great individual efforts:
-Norman forced fumble/recovery
-Oliver 4th and 1 stop
-Jefferson forced fumble/recovery

Another fun, stressful, roller coaster performance. I really wish we didn’t need to recover an onside kick every week to close out a game…..but it’s another win.
Josh was very solid again, BUT, taking a huge sack and costing your team what would have been a near-game clinching FG attempt HAS to stop. He seemed to be playing with a little hesitation at certain points after the injury, a little quicker to go to the check-down. But still made the throws he had to when called on and continues to show great command of the offense.
Diggs deep catch was the play of the day. He and Singletary were the stars. Give OL credit for solid pass protection.
Defense: A near panic inducing performance for a large portion of the game, but then they turned it on, generated pressure on Carr and created 3 turnovers (first one gifted back to LV)
Bills now -2 for the season on turnover ratio against the officials. Need to clean that up.
Kicking/punting: ugly PAT miss. Bad job on punts.
Playcalling: Very good again, they moved the ball consistently.
4-0!!!!

thanks for the comment. I know people are angry, but I wanted to let you know that I have read the concerns here and I have already implemented some changes and will be suggesting something in the near future. Maybe tonight. In the meantime this defense is giving me heartburn.
Thanks for the explanation SDS.
I understand posters' frustrations as this board has successfully self regulated for lo these many years, and now there seems to be a small cohort who runs to a mod every time the argument gets heated. So that's disappointing. That said, DR choose to engage those people, and choose to not avoid trouble despite the warnings, so he bears that responsibility.
Those remaining should use this opportunity to realize that being too proud to use the ignore function when needed is not a winning strategy.
