  1. I strongly suspect that doesn't mean what I hope it means. Anyway, good luck my fellow finance chief!
  2. That Kraft fires Belichick and Tommy can stay in NE with a new coach who will worship him?
  3. I get that Tampa has excellent WRs but otherwise they've been crap for years. Plus Brady doesn't have the arm any longer to get it downfield to those deep threat guys.
  4. The one where the communication never cuts out pre-snap?
  5. Yes, but lack of interest in the LA market in general hurts the overall wallet of the league. btw, I'm still not buying it. Until he signs on the dotted line, to me this is just more bull#### LAMP from Brady, and he'll kiss and make up with Belichick and go back to NE.
  6. Good point here. They have that huge, new stadium to fill and the Rams are at high risk of not sustaining the high level they achieved two years ago.
  7. My local liquor store is technically part of the market a few doors away, so they're staying open!
  8. Yup. It’ll be worse in two weeks than it is today, so people should start thinking in terms of 4-6 weeks.
  9. Totally understand. Mind sticking the link provided by ColoadoBills in the OP? https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/transactions/
  10. @YoloinOhio Just a suggestion, but would be great if you would update the first post in this thread to make it a running summary of signings/trades across the league.
  11. Puh-leeze. His ego demands at least ONE team show some interest in him before he calls Kraft and begs him to make mean old Billy treat him nicer.
  12. Fantastic news. Couldn't care less about the live event, so happy the NFL isn't postponing anything.
  13. Was planning to hit Tahoe this week given everything else is canceled and they just got about 4' of new snow.......but now they're closing all the ski resorts.
  14. Well, when you have the full weight of the media screaming the 'fascist!' line endlessly, it's going to bring a few dim bulbs along.
  15. Two in 3rd and one in 5th. Teachers are supposed to be sending some volume of work each morning, but preparing to supplement that with Kahn Academy and other resources. Keys to success will be essentially the same as in the classroom a) structure/schedule, b) no tolerance for screwing around, and c) keep them engaged. I'm sure not everything will go as planned, but will be interesting to try it out.
  16. I love that he'll have to crawl back to Belichick after getting no other serious interest.
  17. We were discussing this last week and concluded that the dudes living on the streets in the Tenderloin must have incredible immune systems by now so were probably in the low risk group.
  18. That is from an Ian Leslie email. I am skeptical about this approach (is it politically sustainable?), but we will know more soon. Here is another good explanation, by another guy named Ian: And here is a polemic critique of the British strategy. Continuing… . Frankly, I'm glad someone is trying a different approach. We have devolved into a world not just comprised of lemmings, but lemmings who will angrily attack anyone who doesn't following the 'approved' course of action. This isn't the last one of these we're going to see, so might be good if we were able to evaluate relative good/bad ideas/outcomes after this episode is over.
