It's mostly because everyone here is either 1) poor and stupid and totally brainwashed by the left wing demagoguery, or 2) rich and not affected by any of this and so mostly votes in a way that makes them feel morally superior at cocktail parties and on social media.

And, dare I say......fascist*. * just kidding. We all know that true fascism is only possible as a direct result of the existence of Donald Trump.

Bold predictions for tonight's first round.

Let's hope so. I have no interest in spending any top picks from the 2021 draft tonight. -
Happy 70th Birthday, Joe Ferguson!

Same here. I always loved The Juice, but '80 was when I really got into it. That Charger game still hurts. Happy birthday Joe! -

Hi there, how are 'ya? It's been a long time Seems like we've come a long way My, but we learn so slow And heroes, they come and they go And leave us behind as if We're supposed to know why Why do we give up our hearts to the past? And why must we grow up so fast? And all you wishing well fools with your fortunes Someone should send you a rose With love from a friend, It's nice to hear from you again And the storybook comes to a close Gone are the ribbons and bows Things to remember, places to go Pretty maids all in a row

Price becomes much less of an issue when you have to do something. The Bills had to acquire a proven top performer at WR before this season. They had to see what their year 3 QB could do with a full complement of offensive talent. Beane got it done = grade of A. Arguing over a round or two difference in a draft pick they gave up is foolish.

I can't wait till the one on the Patriots. At this rate it'll be a 30-hour-for-30.

I just need a brief rant on the awful trend toward over-extending some of these documentaries. Four hours on Vick was bad enough (I fell asleep during the first part and never bothered to go back), but ten hours on the Bulls? Really? Did I miss where they cured cancer and achieved world peace during the offseason? I would have gladly watched if it was the two hours required to tell their story.

Article: McDermott Concerned about PSE Dysfunction
KD in CA replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a ridiculous point to make, either by the employees in question or the author (no way to know who's really telling the story) One of the 3 pillars of ANY for-profit enterprise is "return on investment." And usually it's the first pillar. -

Last time oil futures were this exciting, JR Ewing was trading them. So what happens if you're stuck with an contract and you don't go pick up your oil on time? -
I noticed this one in the menu.....we played this all the time. Great game!

and the Layoffs begin @ Pegula Sports
KD in CA replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd be curious to hear from the 'tone-deaf' crowd exactly when layoffs will be ok again. Also curious how many of those people are still paying their barber, cleaning lady, lawn guy, etc., even though many of those people are no longer providing their fee-based services. -

As a finance exec, I'd say that was spoken like a marketing exec. You guy always just burn through the cash without a second thought! -
