  1. This. I don't really understand how anyone could have an issue with the Chargers on this one. Gorden held out, rejected a high-end offer, got the freedom he wanted, and then had his true value revealed by the market. Guess he didn't learn much from Bell.
  2. That would be fun from a novelty perspective, but would have severe impact on 2021 draft and ability for rookies to play in the 2021 NFL season.
  3. It's not in Belichick nature anyway, but absolutely yes to this.
  4. So all the picks after the second round couple are a crap shot. You don't say.
  5. It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini. That she wore for the first time today. An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini. So in the water she wanted to stay.
  6. Yes, but it needs some pickle juice.
  7. They need a starting K for the future. Drafting one now rather than a guy who would be 7th on the depth chart at some other position is a smart move. The other option is what, to overpay some vet later? Or to end up with a disastrous situation like Chicago? This is a luxury that comes with building depth at core positions.
  8. In NE? What he did 25 years ago with the rotting corpse of Marty's '80s Browns teams isn't that concerning.
  9. The fish have the easiest obviously, but otherwise I don't see a huge difference between the other 3.
  10. While the markets are latching onto any good news (states opening up, good tech earnings), I don't think they've really factored in the long term impact of this shutdown.
  11. Next year I hope they can appropriately label the draftees as "coronavirus survivors".
  12. 15 days later and still few classified as recovered. Zero in most states. Why? Is the reason still that states can't 'catch up' with tracking the numbers? CDC website now has no mention whatsoever (at least that I could find in several minutes of clicking links) of recovery. Seems pretty odd to me that there's no concern at all about communicating how many people have recovered.
  13. Easy to admit when they ended up getting him anyway for no additional cost. But I see no evidence that Beane is the kind of guy who would make that up, so that just means he got his man, which I like to hear.
  14. Other than being your garden variety skinny-hot chick, why exactly does she have a TV show?
  15. I’m just looking forward to the experience of sitting in a restaurant for dinner.
  16. They drafted Knox to be the guy. If he develops into that, they are set. The rest are role players.
  17. Everyone talked about 3 big needs (WR, DE, RB) going in.....and that's what they got with their round 1-4 picks. Depth on this team has improved dramatically the past couple years, allowing them to spend late round picks on less critical but still important needs; eg., backup QB, K, and projects at WR and CB. You can never be sure if you hit the right guys, so you can really only grade it based on the plan and execution. So to me, it's an A.
  18. But wait.....don’t they have socialized healthcare?
  19. Woah....lemme tell ya bout Dane Jack-son! Solid name. I’m happy.
  20. Thank goodness.....ESPN finally talking about the Eagles and Jalen Hurts. It had been nearly 20 minutes since we covered the Eagles legendary draft.
  21. He’s 35 this year, so I’m fine seeing if they can secure their future kicker now rather than taking someone who will be deep on the depth chart at some other position.
  22. Wow, it’s almost like the Bills are drafting based on research beyond the NFL write up.
  23. Well yeah, but they’re supposed to draft a prototype, day-one ready QB every year......in the fifth round.
