To believe in any of this nonsense, you'd have to believe an owner would prioritize skin color over the success of his billion dollar investment. And if you believe that, you clearly have never met anyone who has a billion dollar investment.

I wonder what other "correct" behavior they should start rewarding. Maybe teams should start at their own 15 after a touchback if the owner isn't vocal enough about climate change or curing AIDS in Africa.

That’s worse than anything NE has ever done. Far worse than the block thrown on the sidelines by that meathead for the Jets on the punt gunner. NFL and the media swept it under the rug as quickly as possible.

Payton is certainly accurate on that.....the Steelers and Tomlin are untouchable from a discipline standpoint.....but that doesn't mean he deserves one iota of sympathy.
