I'm going to assume nothing baseball does has any relevance to other sports because unlike the other sports, the owners and union in baseball both prioritize negotiation and PR victories far, far, above actually working to get back on the field. They are as dysfunctional as Democrats and Republicans both seeking 'wins' over the public good. I don't even care if there's a baseball season any longer.
