  1. I didn't realize the ratings were anonymous. You get to rate the customers though too, right? As a frequent Uber user, I certainly wouldn't refuse a ride over a couple of tenths in ratings. Even with one bad review you should still be a 4.5 or a 4.6, no? Getting a car quickly is always the #1 concern for me. Pretty sure I've given a 5 to every driver I've rated (including the woman who ranted about the conspiracy against the Warriors the whole ride), expect the one moron who couldn't find me in the middle of San Francisco, then apparently picked up someone else. I might have been more forgiving if I had been sober and hadn't received notice that I was charged for the no-show. My angry rant to Uber (while in the back of the next one) resulted in an immediate refund. Because they aren't unionized and we simply must protect the ability of taxi drivers to continue their long history of high prices, filthy cars, filthier drivers and overall horrible service. It did a year or so ago when I worked there.
  2. Sorry for your loss, he sounds like a guy who made up for his sins and then some. Sadly Bridgepo' is still like that in a lot of areas.
  3. I just did have the move. I miss grass. No not that kind, plenty of that around here.
  4. Wayne with the concise and spot on summation as usual. LOL....seriously, unless you are operating machinery, what kind of jobs these days really need to drug test people? Never had a drug test in my life, don't plan on ever having one. I have however, gotten high with two of my former CEOs.
  5. Bump this topic for me in 2018 and we can check on the progress.
  6. A brutal 68 today in San Fran.
  7. Nice of someone to toss in the pity vote. Pasta Joe perhaps?
  8. There could be a video of Hillary having a threesome with Monica Lewinsky and a Chinese spy with a folder of nuke secrets and a bag of cash on the dresser and it wouldn't cause a ripple. One thing I've learned about liberals -- they absolutely do not care one iota about corruption. As long as a politician is preaching the left wing line, they absolutely don't care. It explains the love fest with the left wing dictators. Of course if the wife of the other party's candidate copies a few lines from an old speech, look out!! In the end, enough people will get to the voting booth and say to themselves "holy ****, Donald Trump??" and pull the Hillary lever.
  9. But how many of the other 9 QBs are still on their rookie contract? Is 1 year at $12M the 'starter money' people insisted Fitz deserved?
  10. This. And sad to say, they're going to win it again this year.
  11. I'm no fan, but that was a terrific speech.
  12. Sooooooo.....that works both way, right? The entire left wing establishment & media & every idiot Facebook poster are also hypocritical dooshbags for hysterically slamming Trump at every turn while completely ignoring Hillary's corruption and lying. I just want to make sure I get it straight, because I'm pretty sure I still see at least 10X more Trump bashing in the world than I do Hillary bashing. I mean really, how big an orgasm would the NY Times and John Oliver and the Daily Show and CNN and every speaker at the DNC be having if it was the Republicans who were caught red handed completely rigging their entire primary process??
  13. Dems play that card every election. Nothing special about Trump; they hate anyone who isn't a lock-stepper. The difference this time is they don't have a likable candidate like Bill or Barry.
  14. They really need to invent another word for whatever those folks are that you have there in Berkeley. About the same but more plentiful.
  15. Online assessments, SLP & OT is the way to go.
  16. I didn't watch but it sounds like the summary from Day 1 of the convention was roughly the same as a clueless person trying to train a litter of puppies. "Bad delegates, bad!! You WILL do as your told!!" Riding the ferry this morning I overheard two classic Marin County liberals exchanging their lock-step views on the convention and even they thought Simon was an embarrassment. I kept hearing about all the 'star power' at this convention. I guess they are saving the big guns for later in the week.
  17. Yup. The answer to your question is only a good realtor who really knows the market/house can give you the real answer. Unless of course you pay an inspector and discover it's an issue with the house. Years ago I had two deals to buy houses end due to inspection finds; one was a septic issue, one a termite issue. Whatever you do, do your research and find a good inspector, and walk through the entire inspection with him asking any question you can think of. The inspection isn't just a box to be checked on the list, it's your chance to learn about the house you are buying. As to #5, when my mother died I had two RE agents suggest listing prices that were almost $100,000 apart (~10%). There are a lot of RE agents out there who don't know **** about RE.
  18. Naaahhh.....Facebook's far left wing, Silicon Valley management would never slant political discourse in the US.
  19. Yes, Facebook is amazingly quiet this week. Can't figure it out.
  20. Wow, that's horrible. At least that looks like the city I remember from the Dirty Harry movies.
  21. Wow...I had no idea that ever existed. I can't even imagine how horrible that must have looked.
  22. Undefeated as a starter!! People here would have been screaming to give him a long term contract.
