  1. Cue some idiot saying how 'she's faced so much criticism', as if it's a badge of honor rather than an indication that she's the most corrupt politician in recent memory.
  2. Watched that game with my roommate who was from Cleveland. Ronnie !@#$ing Harmon.
  3. Remember the time The Post (or maybe it was the Daily News) ran the wrong OpEd piece about the sad end to the Yankees' season when in fact the Yanks had won the deciding playoff game the night before?
  4. Sledgehammer is an obvious one for this list, so I'll jazz it up with some classic video commentary from the boys:
  5. Just look at all those poor, starving women and children!
  6. That's a disingenuous argument and you know it; teams can't always control the circumstance of what record will get you in the playoffs. 2008 was an unusual year. That said, 11-5 plus 3-1 this year is a 70% win pct (vs Brady's 77%) so you are correct that there is a difference. Plus Brady usually plays his best in big moments and that's hard to quantify with stats but it's part of what sets him apart. Well there were no Pats* fans pre-Brady so you can understand his mistake.
  7. That's the worst comparison ever. Not to mention, Brady should get the McGuire/Bonds/Sosa/Clemens treatment for cheaters.
  8. It's aboot time Cleveland went back to the WS!
  9. I'd be more upset about it if Blout wasn't the guy who sucker punched an opponent walking off the field after a college game. Thug on thug crime never bothered me that much. That said, anything that can go wrong for Burfict is a good thing. That Steelers playoff game last year still makes me laugh.
  10. I have to admit I'm a little puzzled. I knew Fitz was Fitz and would regress from last year's anomaly, but I thought they had a pretty decent team otherwise. Right now they look like a bottom five team.
  11. Good to see Bills fans always innovating.
  12. Yeah, they were an excellent team. Olson was terrific; had the game knowledge and an actor's sense of timing and delivery.
  13. And we had to settle for FGs three times against that D. 16 points will not be good enough next week against Brady. Bills have a long way to go before anyone should start worrying about getting enough respect from the media.
  14. I was gonna say Bill Walsh, but Sam is even better. But nothing beats Don Criqui and Bob Trumpy covering a big AFC game on a muddy field.
  15. Defensive players were allowed to hit Kelly and Marino (and their WRs). But yeah, he's probably getting some help too.
  16. Wow...even the "Notorious RBG" isn't allowed to step out of line these days! Yes, but they didn't kowtow to the rules of the 21st Century morality police, so their morality is rightly called into question.
  17. Who's the poster with the win pct for every Bills coach since Levy? I need to see the update.
  18. To me that's more important. I can live with the spotting errors, not guys who don't have the delivery.
  19. Obviously he was able to rely on a dominant run game today, but I thought Taylor was very good today against an aggressive defense that was having success getting pressure. Several times he avoided trouble, bought time and found receivers for completions. I don't remember any examples of him making the wrong choice on run/pass or forcing bad throws, and he hit Hunter on the deep TD. Today was definitely one in the plus column for TT.
