  1. Probably. They haven't been able to get the offense off the field all night.
  2. Of course....perfectly timed penalty to kill the last best chance.
  3. Refs aren't inconsistent at all. The same teams get screwed on a regular basis.
  4. So one good KO return by Seattle and we're going to concede the 35 yard line for the rest of the night?
  5. JHC....is this going to be just like the Fitz game where literally every throw Wilson puts up for grabs lands in the absolute perfect spot?
  6. Yup. It should have been loss. Need some other guys to step up here.
  7. What a play. That's a guy you give a contract extension.
  8. All the more reason you can't screw up drafts by giving away first round picks because you are desperate or enamored with one guy, or blow them on flashy, high risk players. If you build a deep team you can afford to give guys like Gilmore a take-it-or-leave-it contract offer.
  9. Didn't that team go something like a month without scoring a touchdown that season, or am I thinking of another Ravens team?
  10. And the guy in the yellow jacket's saying, "Whaddya want from me?"
  11. People have been doing that forever. Difference is, 30 years ago the homeowner would have just crumpled it up, thrown it in the trash and it would have been immediately forgotten. But now everything has to be put on social media for the whole world to consume and every one-off instance of someone being a dick is magnified into some huge commentary on society, requiring people express their shock or outrage, and then their shock and outrage at the subsequent backlash, and so on and so on. I guess this is what passes for entertainment now that the big networks have stopped making good TV shows.
  12. Of course he'll be back early. Man, that 2004 draft just never stops hurting. They were willing to pay big to move up for Losman but couldn't figure out how to get up 3 or 4 spots for Roethlisberger instead. Ouch.
  13. Don't tease me like that. Did they get Curtis Armstrong on board?
  14. Hear, hear! I know if I was winding down a 15 year career in San Diego and had tens of millions in the bank, I'd jump at the chance to move my family to Buffalo so I could play on an offense with an aging, injured RB, an injured WR, and little else.
  15. Here's the real problem: what would be good match-ups? There are very few teams that are good and entertaining. It is a league awash in mediocre talent and coaching. They have harmed the product with the usual over-thinking; over-thinking the rule book, the player safety stuff, the officiating, etc.
  16. Good week to have Julio and Evans as my WRs.
