And even scarier considering the most likely candidate for 2020 as of right now is Warren. Yup. Problem is 'average' QBs usually don't get to the playoffs and almost never win championships. And in Taylor's case the issue is compounded by the fact he's a below average passer which means a good scheme by a playoff caliber defense that can force him to stay in the pocket will be successful the majority of the time. That said, he's better than anyone I can foresee being on the team next September so hopefully they can draft successfully and keep Taylor without committing huge dollars long term.

It'll never happen; they can't risk letting an avalanche of player transfers decimate a major (or even a minor) school. Besides, players still have their scholarships, friends, familiar surroundings and everything else they had before. It's not like a coaching change voids scholarships.

I could poke holes in any player in the league. The point is every one of the guys I mentioned is a better passer than Taylor and the Bills passed on drafting most of them. I believed the 'coached not to lose' excuse when it was rookie EJ w/ rookie Marone, but not in this situation. Taylor been in the league for 7 years; if he had the ability, we'd see it on the field.

But he had 7 rushes, so unless some were designed runs he had 25 drop backs. If he only threw 18 passes, there's either something wrong with the WRs getting open or the QB willing and able to deliver the ball.
