  1. My wife gets her hair 'blown out' before any event; no idea what that costs. The funny thing is she insists it's not a luxury but a burden of female maintenance.
  2. Ambassador to Scotland....how do I apply for that gig!
  3. That was a really fun day (other than the outcome). Wembley is a great stadium and Bills fans were everywhere. Of course; that's what this whole thing has been about. Shahid Kahn didn't buy that team to stay in Jacksonville!
  4. I keep seeing this, but given his pocket awareness (or lack thereof), what makes him better than all the other mobile QBs over the years (other than Vick who I assume everyone considers #1)?
  5. It looks like the Bills have the fifth most lost games due to injury out of 32 teams, but it's not an excuse? Obviously any attempt to quantify the impact of each player is highly subjective. I have a very hard time believing the total impact of the Bills 180 lost games is roughly equivalent to the total impact of the Niners 85 lost games or Denver's 70 lost games.
  6. I'd love a 7am or 8am kickoff. My issue with being on the west coast is the late games are over at 8pm, just when I'm turning on the TV.
  7. He's considered a middle of the pack QB by fans who just see highlights of scrambles and bombs on broken coverage plays, but I doubt NFL GMs are overly impressed. Sure he'll get contract offers and a chance to compete on some other QB-less team and he might even start. But he's unlikely to ever see a playoff game from a spot other than the bench. If the Bills can renegotiate with him for a much lower # I'm not opposed to keeping him for another year. Obviously they need to draft someone in the spring.
  8. Fades on 3d AND 4th down. Only running the wildcat on back to back plays when your standard running game is tearing it up could have been dumber.
  9. Oh, no worries....I've done the exact same thing many times. Just thought I'd answer the question.
  10. To be fair they dropped a bunch vs the Bills; especially Crabtree. Not sure what happened there -- Cooper looked like an outfielder who loses a fly ball in the lights.
  11. He cut and pasted Lawson's name (so as not to misspell it) and when you do that the font you cut and pasted takes over for the rest of the post.
  12. Frustrating the Bills never seem to be a team that can pull out games. Normally I'd say Rawls, but Forte is playing the 49ers this week.
  13. I don't there much of an 'if' question on EJ. Isn't he an UFA after this season? He's certainly not going to sign on here as a backup (at best) without exploring the market.
  14. No, it backfired because it was a dumb move. There were two other top quality WRs available in the existing draft slot if that was the position he needed to fill. Wasting a first round pick to trade up is inexcusable. But aside from that one blunder, he's done a good job. The Bills have more quality players than at almost any time in the past 20 years. But....they need a QB. If Whaley doesn't draft one in the first two days next May, he will be negligent.
  15. I thought it was a 20% raise? Either way, guys want to lock up their financial future. No one is happy being tagged. I can't imagine Washington not getting him signed long term.
  16. Plan to do your Christmas decorating Sunday afternoon. 42-13
  17. Good grief...could have thrown it in the flat or to Goodwin cutting across the back of the end zone. Both were open and he had a huge pocket. It's a shame, but the guy simply doesn't have the instincts to play QB.
  18. How about the biggest 'fake' news story of all from the bulk of the mainstream media? That the election was a foregone conclusion. Was their motivation the hope Trump supporters wouldn't bother showing up to vote? Was it a coping mechanism for those individuals who couldn't process the possibility of a Trump win? Where these people all on the Clinton, Inc. payroll? Who knows, but they spent almost two years running down every other candidate in both parties and stating at every opportunity that Hillary was a shoo-in, even as it became clear to many people that Trump had at least as good a chance to win as she did.
  19. So you think the CEO of a major business spends his day scrutinizing operating expenses that amount to a fraction of one % of revenue? The example used above was Harvin. I really don't think Terry spent much time reviewing the waiver wire for potentially cheaper options when they needed an emergency fill in at WR.
