  1. Best idea ever! I agree with Jay's draft strategy; terrible draft picKs drive the sadness engine far more than any single game. Losman (multiple picks), Whitner, EJ, Spiller, McCargo (another trade up!). That is a murders row of how to kill a franchise for decades. And they absolutely got the #1 pick correct. There shouldn't even be a debate. The Steeler game is over-drafted; they were a 15-1 team with guys like Willie Parker on the bench. That game was no surprise. Here's their starting line up that day -- look at that defense. Tommy Maddox QB Duce Staley RB Lee Mays WR Hines Ward FL Antwaan Randle El SE Jerame Tuman TE Marvel Smith LT Alan Faneca LG Jeff Hartings C Keydrick Vincent RG Oliver Ross RT Kimo von Oelhoffen DE Aaron Smith DE Chris Hoke NT James Harrison LOLB James Farrior LILB Larry Foote RILB Joey Porter ROLB Willie Williams LCB Chad Scott RCB Troy Polamalu SS Chris Hope FS
  2. Once they do that even the media would start connecting the dots to the Seth Rich murder.
  3. This one is a lost cause; you should start a new thread and name it @realTBDisms.
  4. I sure did; thanks for pointing that out and proving my point. It takes a defense the level of the Broncos in 2015 or the Ravens in 2000 to overcome a below average QB. If you are insinuating the Bills 2014 defense was within a hundred miles of the quality of those teams, you are delusional. So as I said, it's easier to find a good QB than it is to create an all time great defense.
  5. Good list but these are not TBDisms. A TBDism is a malapropism, such as "air born virus", "fast paste offense", "lamb basted" or "self of steam". Yes, those examples have been used on this site. There was a fun thread a few years ago that had dozens of dozens of classic entries.
  6. This. It still amazes me how people talk themselves into the Bills being a contender every year. And as for QBs coming out of school, to the extent they are produced you can be sure they won't be drafted by the Bills. They've managed to draft two capable QBs in 50 years and not one since Kelly. I'd say it's harder to obtain a defense good enough to overcome a below average QB than it is to obtain a QB good enough to overcome a below average defense. If you don't have the quarterback, having a good defense is nice but ultimately irrelevant.
  7. Russians (allegedly) published a bunch of emails. Millions of Americans are advocating to invalidate an election because they didn't like the outcome. I'm sorry, who exactly is a threat to our democracy?
  8. The highlight of that link was the poll: I don't let my kids around water?
  9. Duke lacrosse syndrome. Drunk, white, bros are always guilty. Knock me over with a feather at this news.
  10. Uh oh....looks like Jill may have been correct about voter fraud in Michigan! http://nypost.com/2016/12/14/michigan-recount-reveals-error-but-not-the-one-jill-stein-wanted/
  11. The real evidence is that none of it "interfered" in any way with the US election. It embarrassed one of the candidates by revealing things that candidate and her party were ACTUALLY saying and doing! Horrors! Show me were the Russians hacked into the vote counting machines in PA and invented or switched a few hundred thousand votes and then we'd be talking about something that justifies the ridiculous level of hysteria. And as always, let's pretend the hack happened to Trump/GOP. Reaction from the left: "Republicans are so incompetent they can't keep the Russians out of their emails!" "See!!! We told you Trump was evil! Look at what these emails say!! RAAAYSSSSIS" "OMG! Trump rigged the entire GOP primary!! Lock him up!!"
  12. I just can't see what he could accomplish in the last two weeks as a brand new guy (with a bad QB) that would make any difference. Good memories of him from ND; shame he hasn't been able to put it together in the pros.
  13. Maybe Trump will put in a law that says people caught doing that **** get beaten to death with hammers.
  14. Mostly that says they spent huge money on 3 big defensive FA who are all playing very well, and they got JPP back.
  15. Look at Pooj dropping some coin on a nice bottle!
  16. It's funny how much of this **** seems to cut across the entire female species.
  17. This. The Bills enter 'who cares' territory every December and this year is no different.
  18. And he knows to pick young guys that can be coached to be in the right place at the right time and do the right thing. He doesn't take knuckleheads like Jerry Hughes. You look over the years at all the huge plays made by unsung guys for NE; Butler's SB pick, the guy who broke up Lee Evans' TD in the AFCC, Troy Brown stripping Marlon McCree to save a playoff game against SD, whoever stripped the ball out of Leo's hands on that kick return. None of those things were accidents. The Pats have 11 guys who know what they are doing and are aware of the circumstances on virtually every play. That's coaching. If you don't have the coach and QB, the rest is meaningless.
  19. How about hiring a monkey to fling poo at Mel Kiper's draft board to determine picks? It couldn't possibly result in worse drafting than they've had for the past 15 years. Seriously, can someone tell me the last time the Bills made a great draft pick? A transformational draft day decision on a selection or a trade? A player they saw greatness in that no one else did? Anything like that? Remember that old video of the ESPN guys mocking the Jets on draft day? Well folks, the Bills have surpassed that standard by miles.
  20. Let's just get this out of the way right now: NE 12-4 Miami 9-7 Bills 7-9 Jets 6-10
