  1. Sad part is, I bet Trump has a legal team that would knock your socks off. Exactly. That seems to have gotten lost in all the shuffling. For all his limitations, it's not like they have anyone else ready to step in at QB so maybe they decide to keep him. Plus, do we know how the new HC feels about him?
  2. I still don't understand how contracts for tens of millions of dollars can be done so poorly.
  3. I agree; the modern concept that stadiums need to be replaced every 20 years is absurd. But don't lose sight of the fact this was a good outcome on the most important issue: the taxpayers (mostly) telling Spanos to !@#$ off. Let's hope that happens in WNY and every other NFL city until the league/owners are funding 100% of their capital projects. And shame on anyone who votes for any politician who pledges taxpayer money for new stadiums.
  4. I used to share a floor with College Humor and was always amazed how little was going on there. In fact, they complained because our education company used to make too much noise playing ping-pong.
  5. I didn't really know was Buzzfeed was before, so I just checked it out. In addition to Trump stuff, the front page has: -Weekly Cat news letter -Selena Gomez topless selfie (not really, just clickbait, I checked). -Mint julep recipe -something about Kendel Jenner -'create a sandwich and we'll tell you about your personality' I stopped there. Truly a lot of "impactful journalism". I'm sure conner is a big fan.
  6. What a joke. Kraft only paid for it himself because MA told him to !@#$ off knowing he'd never abandon the Boston TV market for Hartford. The infrastructure improvements was the compromise after he capitulated. Maybe like 90% of Pats fans you didn't know NE had a football team prior to 2001. Yes I'm sure the Rams are totally blindsided by this news.
  7. Warner had just never been given a chance. He was a first team All Pro his first year playing. Young and Rodgers were simply stuck on the bench behind HOF QBs. None of them were struggling to see open receivers or pull the trigger on passes two years into their starting roles.
  8. To Jerry Sullivan: "I'm not going to give you a question. You are fake news."
  9. The highlights from this morning were just endless.
  10. Hmmm....maybe the assassination of an RNC staffer who may have been leaking party secrets? That was top shelf entertainment from start to finish. "I'm not going to give you a question, you're fake news" goes down as one of the great press conference moments in history.
  11. I didn't say it was a good chance! Then again, if the Raiders leave the Bills might be on TV a little more often here.
  12. "No of course we won't trade up in the draft. Only morons do that."
  13. Good. Still a chance the Raiders stay in Oakland.
  14. Certain level in terms of record, yes. Certain level in terms of ranking, no, since rankings are a rigged game. Good example this year: Western Michigan was 13-0 so IMO would have deserved a spot far more than the 4th place team in the Big 10. This is why the old system was better; there was no big wall separating the top 4 1/2* conferences from the rest. * at this point the Big 12 is just on standby in case they can't credibly arrange the SEC/ACC/Big 10 match ups they want.
  15. Not necessarily. If the Bills don't trade up, Watkins and Evans are possibly both available to TB at 7 and the other left for Buffalo at 9.
  16. True. Now that I'm in CA I can smoke my way to oblivion before watching football.
  17. Exactly. Highlights the fallacy in most of these 'best teams' playoff arguments. The only possible way an 8 team playoff makes sense is to have 6 automatic bids (5 power conference champs and 1 non-power conference champ or Independent); and two wild cards (who must come from different conferences). As it stands, the existing system is still nothing more than a TV ratings grab, with rigged pre-season polls setting the table for the hopeful result.
  18. They may have solicited Carr's opinion but that's it. 'Sign off' means he could say no and change the decision and no player has that power.
  19. I guess kids don't make their Christmas lists from the Sears Wish Book anymore, huh? Half of the good tools I have were free: they are the same ones my father was using when I was a kid. I have hammers and screwdrivers that are older than me.
  20. Terrific. Code for 'continue to promote the attitude that dumb, selfish players should be tolerated because that's how kids are these days'.
