  1. If you have time to check out the city, Dealey Plaza is fascinating.
  2. Replaced Justice Scalia with appropriate selection. 100 days of Hillary not being POTUS. Showed the depth of the left's capacity for being little more than irrational hate mongers. Everything else is noise. I'm good. Dear Gator, Feel free to put yourself on ignore; it seems to work for everyone else. -Abby
  3. Ok then, what exactly is generating all the cries of 'dysfunction' over the firing of a GM with the track record I described? Or is it just the standard Bills fan kicking and screaming out of frustration any time there is a major change at OBD?
  4. He was an improvement over what we had before and did some good things, but his two signature decisions were EJ and the Watkins trade. Oh for two. And I can't remember the last time it didn't seem like the FO and the coaching staff were at odds for one reason or another. No organization is ever successful unless everyone is on the same page and that hasn't been the case at OBD in a long time. That might not be all Whaley's fault, but you can't keep ignoring the problem and you've already replaced the owner and coach.
  5. I love all the references here to the Bills being 'dysfunctional' because they fired a GM who seems to always have problems getting along with the HC, didn't find a QB, hasn't built a playoff team and struck out on his two biggest draft day decisions. Guess they should have been functional and just stayed the course.
  6. I'm rooting for the Jets so they aren't in position to take one of the big QBs next year.
  7. It would have been worth it for a married red head.
  8. Can we at least change the title to reflect that he now plays for another team?
  9. I agree but there is a YUGE difference between trading up in the first round at the cost of 1st and 2nd round picks and trading up on day two at the cost of a day 3 pick. People are acting like the fifth round is full of future All Pros. The difference between a fifth rounder and an UDFA in camp is a small price for getting the guys they wanted IMO. As far as pouncing on a QB next year, they are in position to package three 2018-19 #1 picks to do that.
  10. Most of the fans who are upset are judging each decision individually, but it's clear the Bills are following an overall plan.
  11. He would be on good behavior in a contract year...but I'd never give him an extension.
  12. What does the Bucs offense have to do with the Bills? McDermott didn't pick Watkins over Evans + a 1st.
  13. It's almost time to break out that list of recent Bills' fifth round picks.
  14. Most solids are. 3 good picks and a 1st for next year. No complaints here. If you need more 'flash' in your draft picks, go root for the Cowboys.
  15. Love London Fletcher. Hate that he's announcing picks for the Redskins instead of the Bills.
  16. Dammit, I hate when they pick positions where they need help!! Where are the RB and DT picks!!!
  17. That's a nice one, it's in my normal rotation. For this evening's ferry ride I have a Brown Shuga but I'm not a big fan of this offering from Lagunitas.
  18. His interview was hilarious. I was rooting for a TV f-bomb and he delivered right on cue. And no I don't want him. We already have Hughes to meet our unsportsmanlike conduct penalty quota.
  19. 5. I'm very happy none of those people are making decisions for the Bills.
  20. Bad trade, but I guess if you're the Bears and you haven't had a good QB since Jim McMahon was slammed to the turf against Green Bay in the mid-80s, you're probably getting a little desperate.
  21. Yup; total idiot. Very happy the Bills didn't take him.
