  1. It seems like we've been listening to his bullsh-- longer than that. Hawking is not someone I'll miss when he's gone.
  2. One of my favorite things about that case is how the idiots all suddenly decided 911 operators are society's ultimate authority. These are the same people who go apoplectic when someone gets shot for refusing to follow direct orders from a policeman who has a weapon drawn.
  3. Yup. Terrible to see any child suffering from any serious disease, but this is why if you choose to bring a child into the world you no longer have the right to act like an immature idiot and piss away your opportunities. Don Corleone: "Women and children can be careless, but not men."
  4. If Buffalo had a 75,000 person wait list for ST I doubt they'd still be considered dysfunctional. Success gives you options. Just like how the Pats yank STs from people who misbehave at games. Think they'd be doing that if they were still putting up 2-14 seasons on a regular basis?
  5. Horsing were banging off each other out of the gate and took a few of them right out of the action. Smooth ride by Velasquez and he easily held off a couple of weak challenges down the stretch.
  6. I'd definitely take your advice on which bud to have our neighborhood medicinal delivery gal leave in the mailbox. Quarterbacks? Maybe not.
  7. Do you suffer from crappy TE? Ask your General Manager if Lyerla is right for you.
  8. Still my favorite Daily Show host by a mile. It was funny as hell before Stewart turned it into a political show. That reminds me of John Henson, the Tosh-like host of Talk Soup back in the 90s. Never heard from him again.
  9. Julia Roberts is the worst in every way. Unwatchable. And while Sandra exclusively makes dumb movies, she's at least kinda funny in some of her rom-com roles and can sometimes look hot.
  10. And they did. AP getting hurt killed them last year. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see them back in the playoffs this year.
  11. I'll take "Thing That Should Stay in the '70s" for $400, Alex.
  12. Like all sports it's fun but not really an important part of life any longer. It'll be great to get fired up if they reach the playoffs again in my lifetime but otherwise doesn't impact much so reason to ever need to be 'done'.
  13. Never got the Elisabeth Shue hype. Average actress at best and was only marginally cute in that un-sexy girl-next-door '80s kinda way.
  14. He must be very upset this guy only got to kill one before a customer put him down: https://www.dallasnews.com/news/arlington/2017/05/03/two-people-killed-third-wounded-arlington-restaurant-shooting-reports-say Funny how the MSM has completely ignored this would-be 'mass shooting'
  15. Yup; I don't understand the decision to let Bart go either. I guess they thought they'd have too many pitchers but since every guy in the rotation misses more games than Sammy Watkins that was pretty short sighted. But hey, at least Conforto is back and hitting!
  16. Honestly, it's all just blended into one big cluster!@#$ from the moment of the forward lateral till now. Same with the Sabres since the '06 ECF.
  17. Just wait till the pitchers leave in a couple years and the Mets are losing 100 games a year.
  18. Care to explain this? The rest was just tantrum throwing.
  19. People ignore that factor frequently. Almost no one played past mid 30s due to the beating. Regardless, IMO a more interesting discussion is what happens if the Bills take Marino?
  20. Not even when he was pitching for the Trumbull CT LLWS champs??
  21. What's been so awful about the way the offseason has played out? They fired the coach everyone wanted out, they kept the QB most wanted kept, and they wanted to get through FA and the draft before making the FO changes. As for the 'silly explanations', I have no tolerance for those who still kick and scream over standard press conference bull sh--, be it from owners, coaches or players.
