  1. I did the same thing, but ended up using my generator for 4 major power outages in less than ten years, so that was among my best purchases. Dumbest thing I ever bought was a stepper machine. I think I used it once. Otherwise was just a huge, heavy thing I needed someone's help to move. Also, it turns out you can go for a walk/run for free.
  2. All the time; isn't that the point of Facebook? I caught up a few months ago on the phone with one of my college roommates who I hadn't spoken to in 25 years. Still trying to get together with a couple other old friends out here in SF.
  3. The real answer is, nobody cares in any of the 3 cities because hoops is about to start up and the Warriors are unbeatable.
  4. One difference is those are all clearly suburbs of the main city. OP is only about 10 miles from Buffalo, no? Not so here -- San Jose is larger than San Francisco, so has it's own vibe, it's own traffic, etc. Move Giants Stadium from E Rutherford to Trenton or Cherry Hill (outside Philly) and that's more like what you have here. NE and Dallas have been in those locations for decades so that's always been their home. It's not like the Cowboys built a fan base playing in Dealy Plaza and then moved to Irving.
  5. Not only did I have it, I actually liked the ET game! Never understood all the criticism. By comparison, the Indiana Jones game was pure crap. And I loved Adventure. And Pitfall. And Superman -- that was my favorite.
  6. Don't know why, but they sure don't seem to manage the NFL very well here in California. Putting a 2d team in LA is beyond idiotic. The Chargers should be San Diego, period. They won't last ten years in LA. I didn't really appreciate this until I moved here, but San Francisco doesn't have a team anymore. San Jose does. That new stadium is an hour away from the city...without traffic. Like most great cities, San Francisco is all about being in the city. The 49ers played in the middle of Golden Gate Park for 25 years and then another 40+ across town at Candlestick. Now they expect people to drive 40+ miles down the peninsula to sit in a 100 degree stadium, just as they drove their successful head coach out of town and the team collapsed? LOL....good luck with that! San Fran is a case study in what not to do when building a new stadium. And p.s., the Raiders will also be a disaster in Vegas. Here's a good article about the 49ers disaster: https://ninernoise.com/2017/09/13/49ers-levis-stadium-niners/
  7. Because the fat guys do better playing on the line.
  8. And therefore, President Pegs? Kim would make a lovely First Lady!
  9. Every single day is full of sunshine and puppy dogs because that evil cvnt is not the President.
  10. Yup. If your daughter ends up in an abusive relationship, you need to be prepared to preemptively kill the MF.
  11. Ive never seen so many people on the web throughout a supposedly massive hurricane!
  12. Good time to put this pair on TV, when everyone on the east coast is asleep.
  13. She's not very good. Rex is trying to be respectable and is coming off flat. Big problem is he doesn't tend to speak in complete sentences which doesn't work too well in broadcasting.
  14. Was that Eddie Robinson at LB on that TD run?
  15. Hope springs eternal But Raiders on TV here I'll be out hiking
  16. Jason Peters held out early too and turned out to be a HOF caliber player. In retrospect the Bills should have met his demands. Donald is the best DT in football, so yeah, you gotta pay him. It's always impossible to know who is being unreasonable behind closed doors, but the Rams should be trying hard to work something out.
  17. +1 !@#$ing up your own life is fine. Victimizing innocent people in response makes you a total scumbag.
  18. I always thought Boomer & Carton were ok, but like all those shows, it could get tired sometimes. But those charges are no joke. No one is going to hear from him for a long time.
