  1. Football and hockey. Ask any Bills or Sabres fan.
  2. And Karlos provides the first sh** sandwich response! Good work! ? But yeah, pretty sick system we have when a guy like this keeps his job as a cop.
  3. Yeah, it’s too bad. Card games and board game were a daily entertainment staple for us. I try to do as much of it as possible with the kids, but can see it will get harder to compete with the e-world as they get older. My grandfather taught me cribbage when I was about 8. Kicked my ass almost every time. There was no ‘let the kids win’ in those days!
  4. The American media stopped caring about this incident within 48 hours as it didn’t offer a direct path to blaming Trump. Yup, this is at the core of every problem. It has been a downward spiral, especially over the last 25 years.
  5. Wait, what??? How can this be?? I thought government was our only protection against evil corporations!
  6. No, not in the least. What difference does it make the last time Miami drafted a QB in the top 5? When was the last time the Bills drafted a QB in the top 10 before last year? (Answer: never) Did that "shock the world"? No, because the Bills badly needed a QB just like Miami does now.
  7. The growth in Florida and S CA over the last 60 years really stands out. Both areas were considered paradise for a long time but now completely overrun.
  8. Never heard of him. Hope he took advantage of his opportunities and earned a useful degree.
  9. I don’t think it’s ever shocking when a team w/o a QB trades up to draft one.
  10. It’s literally the stupidest rule idea ever, yet somehow appeals to those who can’t deal with the fact not every game goes down to the last play. It’s a little scary to see the first generation raised on smartphones and video games turning into adults.
  11. Mine were Yankees going back to 1630, so pre-dated any slaves. But I guess I'm on the hook big time when the SJWs get around to reparations for American Indians.
  12. Guess he's still looking for the right opportunity. Fug him, wouldn't want him here even he wasn't washed up. Which he is.
  13. Still doesn't explain why idiot peasants like BM and gatortard wanted her to win so bad!
  14. Gee....instead of dreaming up completely assinine rules, how about letting guys get a running start on kickoff teams to make onside kicks possible?
  15. Yet another awful, horrible rule change idea. For the marginal benefit of overturning a handful of egregious errors, we’ll get another whole series of plays requiring an interruption to the game, and more inconsistent and capricious interpretation of the rules by the officials, resulting in even more benefit for the NFL marquee teams. All those reviews still can’t determine if a guy is holding a football yet they are going to determine if a DBs partially blocked arm is pushing against a WR or merely adjacent to his body? Good luck with that.
  16. Give him another shot to stop being a spoiled, belligerent, drunk, stupid, a-hole? Absolutely.
  17. Certainly one of the stupidest quotes ever. Now you’re a hero and courageous if you go back to your million dollar job after being involved in a fatal auto accident?? ”Most courageous seventh place finish EVER!!!!”
  18. That's really cool and highlights some interesting things: --the number of infield hits is incredible --he never hit a HR over the fence anywhere other than right/center right, but had a bunch inside the park --almost never had what they call a 'long single'; if it wasn't hit where an OF could field it coming in, it was a double or better. Given the batting average, it's hard not to go with Gwynn. The other guy who Ichiro reminds of is Rod Carew, who could also do anything with the bat. But the fact Ichiro had roughly the same hit count as those guys not counting most of his 20s is pretty incredible.
  19. I'd need to understand the numbers better, but I actually could be convinced to get on board with Medicare for all because the current system of having it go through employers is completely ***** and taxpayers end up footing the bill for millions of exceptions anyway. If you looked at the total dollars employers pay for employee medical benefits (I couldn't find that number in 30 seconds of looking), I bet you could get most of the way to your $3.2B.
