    The ‘next Brady’ comments about Rosen were pretty funny, but the ‘Allen would have been there at 12’ takes were hard to understand. There’s absolutely no way to know that and the Bills could not have risked missing out on both Joshs.

    Yeah, that's always been my sense on those things when it's a school fundraiser. I'd rather spend the dough at an auction and at least walk out with something for my $. Or at the school fairs -- at least the kids have a good time while you're dropping $50 for a snow cone and a few rides, or buying another tee-shirt you don't need.

    No kidding. I was watching in a pub having dinner, but wish I could have focused on the game more. Can't remember the last time I saw someone perfectly hit the bottom of the twine as many times from long range as often as that kid from Purdue -- unreal. TT smoking Michigan at the moment...

    Yup, he's above average but not much more. Easily replaceable, but still a good deal for Philly. Bears must think they can do better in the draft.

    Same thing happened to URI last year with Dan Hurley. He finally put it all together with an experienced team, won the A-10 regular season and lost a tough 2d round game in the NCAA. UCONN came calling and he didn't think twice.
