  1. I must have linked to the wrong list. That is a big oh-fer-six.
  2. A winter's day In a deep and dark December I am alone Gazing from my window to the streets below On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow I am a rock I am an island
  3. All announcers are required to do that. It’s written into the TV contracts.
  4. I'm sure you'd be the first one in line to defend the coaching staff if the cold back up fumbles the snap. So much for not playing scared.
  5. Yup. It's the exact same mentality as when I say "be careful of the cars" every time I walk through a parking lot with my kids.
  6. Brown doing everything, but learn to tuck the ball away rookie. You're not playing UCONN anymore.
  7. Cause all the WRs were behind 3 of them since they were all backing out of the blitz. I don't care for that formation. I'm ready to go nuts on the ST coaching, but that was flawlessly executed by the Dolphin K
  8. You just can't have that miss on 2d down. Brown was wide open. On 3d Josh should have run.
  9. No way. Need to keep piling up the points. Different story if they are inside the one and you're confident Gore can slam it in.
  10. I've always considered 40 yards the beginning of 'deep' territory, so yes.
  11. Then they should be running plays that account for that. That deep fade route works when you have a WR who is 6' 4", not 5' 10". Can't blame it on Brown.
  12. In this case, it clearly does. Uber home from the bar instead of driving drunk Uber home from the airport instead of my wife driving to the airport at 11pm to get me and having to leave our kids alone for two hours Uber for people in areas with little or no cab business Uber to a doctor appt for someone who doesn't own a car (oh look....benefits for the poor!), instead of relying some the local cab monopoly to decide if they're going to bother to show up 45 minutes late, or at all. I don't really see the downside in people having the ability to get where they need to be reliably. And I don't know for sure but would guess the original (and truly unregulated rideshare business, aka gypsy cabs), has been put almost completely out of business.
  13. Agreed that crowd rating comes with some risk, but law of large numbers mostly override it. 4.88 is pretty solid in my book. My rider rating is around 4.8, so likely I wasn't chatty enough for a couple drivers! Never occurred to me that people wouldn't bother to make it easy for the driver on pick up....uh....you are there for ME. I'm the guy who figures out which direction the car is coming from so I can cross the street and be in the right spot to wave him down. And yeah, the GPS is not great. Hundreds of rides and I've still not encountered a rude or difficult driver, never come close to feeling unsafe (compared to some of the nightmare rides I had from private limo companies back in New York). .
