I remember Fred Cox and those Vikings teams, but had no idea he invented the Nerf ball. Nerfs were great, we played with them for years.
RIP and thanks Mr Cox!
I don't look at punt returns as an offensive play. I look at it as a 'please don't fumble play'.
Huh. On second thought, I guess I do look at it as an offensive play.
Wow...shocking. I thought the whole process of pitting owners against each other to put two teams in a city that hasn't adequately supported one in the last half century was a brilliant move and sure to work out smoothly for all concerned.
Same in SF. They are almost all just plain old white scumbags. Have yet to see any Mexican or Asian or Middle Eastern immigrant families sleeping on Market Street.
Is anyone watching? Except maybe the same idiots who have breathlessly clung to every other bogus story since the day he was elected.

According to the NYT, the Bills can go 2-4 and still be 67% for the playoffs IF they beat Pittsburgh.
3-3 gets them in ~90% of the time regardless of who the wins come against.
Pretty amazing list when guys like Allen, Thurman and AP are afterthoughts.
Brown -- he's still #1
Barry -- 15k yards in 10 season on mostly bad teams. Incredible
OJ -- gonna give the homer nod to OJs talent edge vs Payton's longevity and toughness.
