billrooter replied to BUFFALOTONE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am very surprised a bills fan would want an assclown like that, i don't! -
When ya got no running game, ya got no game
billrooter replied to Buffalo Mike1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ray Lewis is a shade of his former self, with that being said i am sick of willis and his dumb ass (i went to the U) mentallity, really who gives a chit. The guy has been nothing but overated since he got here and the worst of it by most bills fans, give me a darn running back that can make cut's, is nimble, and can be a receiving threat out of the backfield any day over him. I may be crazy but if buffalo can pick up a 2nd or 3rd rounder for the guy in the offseason please shop him, we can do so much better at that spot and i hope the coaches realize it! -

Very well said i want a guy that bleeds buffalo blue, willis doesn't have the heart thurman or even travis had, i want a guy with that type of size, running style and heart! -

Ditto that i totally agree! -
I have been thinking all year that i want a running back in the 5"9 to 5"10 range that is a quick guy (great speed a bonus) 210-220. Remind you of anyone, like maybe all the great backs in league history bar a few. Someone who can catch it out of the backfield and is a master at screen passes it would help out jp so much not too mention the abillity to split him out occassionally like thurman was used. I guess i want a slasher or a guy that can actually read blocks, i say like most keep Mcgahee for his contract year and if a rb is available 3rd round or later in the upcoming draft they think might be a good bargain jump on it!

Nate Clements lit up again but....
billrooter replied to Solitary's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I must have been watching the same game, clements in my opinion got toasted alot more than Mcgee! As already posted Mcgee if he gets beat seems to be right there to tackle the guy while nate seems so damn lazy and unmotivated. Mcgee doesn't talk sh-- like clements, and if nate gets 6 million or more(which i would think he will)or more a year at this point i hope he's gone! -
i have for weeks i forgot his name. I kept blindly thinking they would activate him at some point, did i miss something and he's hurt?

Justcurious what was fluties record i didn't think or realize for that matter he had a losing record jdg?

Eball last year was his first year starting at cb, he has improved greatly but last year he showed a hell of alot more than people are giving him credit for in my opinion,am i way off base? -
Clements is a Pro Bowl player...
billrooter replied to realtruelove's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mcgee is still learning at the corner back position, but no way he's average,as you said he has a nose for the ball and you have to factor in his winfield like tackling abillity he really don't miss many tackles. I don't feel he's as good as cover guy as clements but he's clsoing the gap and can catch the ball when he gets a chance. It's amazing alofof peoplewere ragging on his coverage abillity in the preseason after less than a year of starting time, i thought he showed very well in coverage last year for the minimal reps he had starting! -
Yes LOL thanks, you probly gave me my only response to my topic

for the rest of the season, even if holcomb is the better qb right now i just don't see him be able to win 9 of 12 for a playoff spot. If the bill's coaches truly think JP is our qb of the future let him play out he's going to have to get his experience sometime, it sucks the season will most likely be a wash but we might get a real high draft pick and hopefully he can learn plenty. I know right now my opinion might not be real popular but i'm just curious what everyone thinks?

I agree henry could end up being the better back, but chris brown has like ten less carries or so and more yards! I checked out the stats after last weekends games so i don'thave the exacts!

7 WR's, 3 DE's and Jerman backs up MW?
billrooter replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kelsay wasn't a decent player last year? He has started part of one year and i myself think he played well and can guarantee you he will be much better this year watch and get a clue! -
i've neverliked keyshawn but he and terry glenn are definitely better than average receivers in my book!

Don't evaluate JP on preseason
billrooter replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liked frank reich as a person, but he was not that good a quaterback,he had a great team behind him. The team always rose up whenever frank played and rallied around him,and we would usually run the ball 50 times a game when he played. I realize my views might not be real popular as i think marv was overated also,as evidence of a 500 or less record before he coached the bills. I am a bills fan all the way and have always been but in my opinion frank and marv both were in a super position to succeed! -
Bills talking extension with McGee
billrooter replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would we even have the cash to lock up clements at this point? Now or then he is going to so to speak break the bank,Mcgee on the other hand is young and played very well as a first year corner, and getting him done early will only save the bills money in the long run! I think the guy is going to be a real solid corner, but thats just my opinion! -
Why is everyone so happy about the trade?
billrooter replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think travis was worth more than a third rounder also, but the bills obviously weren't going to get any more out of him, with that being said he would have been a backup here for one more year and he'd be gone and thats if he showed up for camp. The nice thing about THIS third round pick is the titans have cleaned house and this might end up being a pretty high third anywhere from beginning to middle of the round, i'm crossing my fingers tennesee is the worst team in the league next year! -

Inserting ranking of Running Backs
billrooter replied to VABills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, whens the last time a starting running back in denver had a bad year? -
The draft is a crapshoot but in my opinion, using your first pick on a player that has never played the position he is being drafted at is crazy, it's a boom or bust pick. The bills could really use a contributor at that spot and i think it would be too big a gamble, but like i said he is very intriguing!
