Interesting Ryan your obviously a UNC fan? I have two college teams Nebraska and the heels and have seen a good deal of Switzer and since I follow Nebraska as well can't fail to mention Jordan Westerkamp I am bias as I follow both programs no doubt, but would love to have either of these guys in a bills uniform. I like Trubisky as well, but the one year of starting experience scares me for a first round qb, though it would be very exciting if buffalo had the chance to pull the trigger.

I seen the 4.62 time at CBS.com under workout time, not combine time, I guess maybe he reran it at Alabama's pro day. I agree the Kuechly comparison is a stretch as he was pretty much thought of as a sure thing. I obviously hope he works out as well. -

I am confused as to why the vast majority of posters pencil Reggie Ragland into exclusively being a run thumper 3-4 type linebacker? I have to admit I did not watch him play at Alabama much, but at his workout for NFL teams I dug up that he ran a 4.62 and have read about his great instincts. Why would it be out of the question for him to be able to be a great sideline to sideline guy as well as coverage linebacker, imo 4.62 is very good speed for a backer playing any spot. -
Exactly what the title says,I realize that McDermott's defense is a lot of zone coverage but Frazier's defense in the past have been Tampa 2 defenses. I like the dc hire given they don't play that defense, curious what are his ties to McDermott are there any? IMO the Tampa 2 and the Ryan's defense are both athngof the past or at least I hope!

. Johnson had a great arm, was a great athlete as well, unfortunately no pocket presence and got hurt a lot. Flutie was a winner and I was a huge fan never understood the hate for him. Seemed to me he was never truley given a fair chance, felt the same about Fred Jackson his first 2-3 years here, far inferior backs were given chances repeatedly as Fred rode the pine.

What is Gilmore actually worth to the Bills....
billrooter replied to billrooter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally agree as i stated no way he is top five and i don't think he has even sniffed the top five, he is to inconsistent. He elevated his play last year but i still don't think he is top five, I liked Darby as a rookie last year more than i have ever liked Gilmores play. -
I understand this has most likely been discussed and I apologize if I'm rehashing. I was just curious what the consensus is. I believe since he has been here he has been in the top quarter of the league for cb's but just don't think he is worth top money. You tend to unfortunately lose some players along the way that you want to retain, but feel like especially with Tyrod hopefully getting a nice juicy contract next year, he is the type that inevitably will have to go. He has been very solid but a bit up and down and the best corners IMO are far more consistent. If the Bills do extend him, it is what it is he is a good player and i will be satisfied with them doing so, just hope it is a decent deal for the bills and they don't overpay. I am kind of curious to see what they have with the rookie and vets they brought in and i don't expect them to play as well as Gilmore but hope the trade off is potentially worth it. I guess the possibility of franchising 1 more year is an option or maybe the case of our 1st rounder next year is once again a corner . Just curious about the varied opinions here?

Topic of the day 6/28: Best draft pick that never was?
billrooter replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would say Corey Moore. JD Williams you mean right, i thought he sucked actually the other two were solid. All JD had was amazing speed. -
RIP Buddy, hell of a coach!

My hope is Rankins falls to our spot, but most of the mocks I am seeing NO get's him at 12. My next hope would be that Shaq Lawson drops and if not Nkemdiche. The Nkemdiche pick would obviously be a risk, but I am hoping being around guy's like Kyle, Jerry, and Marcel can help him rise up and live up to alot of potential. I believe that he can play outside very well too if need be.

Wow most believe DLine is where the most talent is in the draft, and you don't see value for us in any round, before the draft has taken place LOL.

Always looked forward to your views after the game Bill, have fun with the family

Bills re-sign Leonard Hankerson
billrooter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You mean the University of Miami right Augie, if I am not mistaken he was a real good college receiver there. I don't have a problem with all these cheap free agents that have had decent years albeit only 1-2 on other teams myself, it seems alot of people here are intolerant of such moves but they don't have **** for money. With 3-4 guys' like this one is bound to surprise and be a solid 3-4 option, anyone agree? -
Kerley visiting the bills-Signed by Detroit
billrooter replied to Bash_Gash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he'd be a real nice signing, if he comes at a decent salary very little to lose, if he doesn't look good you hack him. I think he'd be a good slot guy, and unlike Percy he stays healthy. -
Who is having a better season? Darby vs Gilmore
billrooter replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Darby all the way, Have been waiting for Gilmore (he has had his best year) to play like Darby is now playing since he got here. I think Darby is a better tackler as well, I noticed on two of his tackles this weekend the strip motion, anyone else pick up on this? If Darby as a rookie is trying to tear the ball out whenever in control or going to the ground, continues honing this he could be something else, he is already in the receivers back pocket on most of his plays.
