The Bills are assigning lockers to their team leaders.
JAMIEBUF12 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i would guess jp and lee evans get the other two lockers. -
i copied this from pro football talk......................................this really would make no sense for the redskins but hey they need to sign someone big every year or else they do not get espn credit for greatest offseason move each year.......BRIGGS-TO-'SKINS MAKES NO SENSE Apart from the fact that Bears linebacker Lance Briggs became a star in a pure Tampa 2 scheme that the Redskins don't run, there's another reason why it makes no sense, in our view, for the 'Skins to add Briggs to the team. With two big-money free agent linebackers -- Marcus Washington and London Fletcher-Baker -- already in the starting lineup, the 'Skins wouldn't be getting the best return on their investment in Washington, Fletcher-Baker, and Briggs. Why? Because a defense has three linebackers on the field roughly half of the time. In the nickel and dime defenses, linebackers are replaced by defensive backs. Teams use the nickel whenever the opponent brings in a third receiver. Typically, that happens in second and long or third and more than three or four yards. At a time when the 'Skins are still thought to be interested in adding Dre' Bly to a corps of cornerbacks that includes Carlos Rogers and Fred Smoot, it's simply not a good investment of cap dollars to write a big bonus check to Briggs, unless the team is thinking about parting ways with Washington and his base salary of $4 million in 2007. Meanwhile, ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli is once again creating the impression that he broke the story of a possible trade of Briggs to the 'Skins, even though Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com and Adam Schefter of NFL Network had the story well in advance. (Free advice to Len: With the departure of Michael Irvin and the "reassignment" of Joe Theismann, the folks in Bristol are demonstrating a willingness to heed and to respond to accurate and reasonable external criticism of their employees.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

97 Rock......Did they end up talking with Willis?
JAMIEBUF12 replied to Billsjunkie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i say burn his jersey!........most bills fans didn't want willis here in the first place.he was a wasted draft pick to placet tom donahoes ego.bills fans have every right to have some fun at willis mcgahees expense.they ought to video tape the whole jersy burning extravaganza by showing it at the bills game on the big screen when the ravens come to town...........by the way buffalo muthas" taught an eye for an eye not sissy sticks and stones crap!go bills "07 -

When considering a player do we need to consider...
JAMIEBUF12 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you have a good point.i know kelly didnt want to go to the bills.the difference from kelly and the likes of mcgahee is that kelly was from pennsylvania.kelly only went to miami so he could be a quarterback.his first choice was penn state.i could see a player from the deep south hating a cold city like buffalo though. -

it was just on nfl live right before sports center.no they really did bash willis.i just posted part of it.they were commenting on willis mcgahees parting shots on his way out of buffalo.they were not commenting on who got the better of the trade.i forget the sportscaster, that dude with the goatee who played 12 seasons they were talking back nd forth about willis.they really called him out for having no respect for a team that drafted him when he was hurt.

Offical tribute to the "dink and dunk" passer
JAMIEBUF12 replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
kelly is probably perfect for a west coast type offense.i never hated kelly it is just that i wanted j.p to succeed.good luck in philly kelly.who knows maybe if we play the iggys early in the season and if donovan is still hurt aaron schobel and darwin walker can be sacking you lol. -
everybody always says we get a raw deal when it comes to espn.well on nfl live they just basically called willis a disrespectful jackass!they said how the bills took a flyer on a injured player.if willis didn't like buffalo he still should respect the city that invested heavily in him.i mean they really dissed willis.it was refreshing to see this happen.go bills in"07

Could this trade signal a possible deal
JAMIEBUF12 replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i don't think so...........first off the redskins have offered their #6 pick for briggs plus the bears #31 in return. second i think even if our offer was attractive we would never be able to afford briggs. giving up our #12 pick wouldn't be so bad,but remember briggs is not happy that he was franchised. i mean he is not happy at over 7 million per year.he is out of our league.just my opinion..means nothing -
No comp picks for bills in '07 draft

No comp picks for bills in '07 draft
JAMIEBUF12 replied to d_wag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
New England Patriots New free agents: TE Kyle Brady (Jaguars); LB Adalius Thomas (Ravens); RB Sammy Morris (Dolphins); WR Donte' Stallworth (Eagles); WR Kelley Washington (Bengals); CB Eddie Jackson (Dolphins). Retained free agents: FB Heath Evans; G Billy Yates; LB Larry Izzo; S Rashad Baker; OL Gene Mruczkowski. Trades: WR Wes Welker, from the Dolphins. Departed free agents: LB Tully Banta-Cain (49ers); TE Daniel Graham (Broncos) Released: S Tebucky Jones; RB Corey Dillon. Franchise player: CB Asante Samuel. i am curious .....why do the pats get 4 picks when they only lost two players? i mean they signed 6 players. -
i just started thinking this is pretty cool.of the 8 linebackers on the current bills roster 6 of the 8 were either drafted or picked up as non drafted free agents by the bills. mario haggan josh stamer angelo crowell john digiorgio keith ellison coy wire players the bills did not draft first.... roy manning kevin harrison i like the idea that most of of the current linebackers were our drafts.it also looks like we will draft two more linebackers with the up coming draft.that could possibly meant 8 out of 10 linebackers on the team drafted by the bills........i can't wait till we welcome paul posluszny to the bills lol lol.

Grade the Bills trade for Walker

i give it a b+.........we filled another need.freed up some money, and we now have more flexability to draft the players we really want in this years draft. -
that was a kewl link!i just emailed darwin and welcomed him to the bills from a bills fan's perspective.

the only player the bills really lost in this whole cash to cap was nate clements.the bills could afford london fletcher if they wanted .the bills did not want london.marve already said as soon as the season ended he wanted a attacking linebacker.not a linebacker that gets jillions of tackles after the runningback ran for 6 yards.i am happy marv and tom modrak had the forsight to draft ashton youtboy last season.that aslo means that marv had a plan last offseason and stuck to it.i don't care how well nate plays this season.he is not worth 80 million dollars.........now the moves the bills made this offseason i thought were awesome.we rebuilt our offensive line.marv did in his second season what td never accomplished in his whole tenure here.posters think we created another hole today.to me it was obvious we are drafting a runningback and a linebacker.so now we get a player to help the defensive line(darwin walker).another hole gone.marv said from day one that the lines were the prioritys.man of his word.and the final stroke of genius was getting rid of that jackass willis mcgahee!the bills will be turning the page very soon.with last years killer draft and this years rebuilding the linesthis will be marked down as one of the most significant offseasons since bill polian was in charge.go marv and tom modrak and go bills in"07

Expect major criticism from...
JAMIEBUF12 replied to downsoufbfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think marv and tom modrak will have the last laugh on espn...at some point they will be on the marv and bills bandwagon!they will have to after each time they diss a bills move and each time the move works for the bills.i predict by the 2008 draft marv will have earned the media's respect.go marv and go bills in"07 -
right now i have a jim kelly, john holocek,2 bledsoes,a mcgahee, and two losmans.i wear the throwback losman and jim kelly the jersey the most.i think the best jerseys now to buy are the retired players that you love.i say this but i do plan on buying a lee evans jersey this season and a paul posluszny one as well lol go bills in"07
