a comp pick is not a 3rd. if the team does well with the free agents it signs it is also no loss to not get extra picks.you get comp picks from losing more players then you gain.so what you are saying is the only way to make the team good is to get extra low round picks?no if we sign good players to fill holes that we are not in position to draft,or to sign a player that can be used for depth now.i think the now would be better then a player to help the team in 2008.it is not throwing away picks because if you are good you do not need the extra picks.and how do you bring in our trade that got us our extra 3rd rounder?no one ever said we do not want picks .we said we are not going to not sign players in fear of not getting extra picks.......very big difference.go bills in"07

you know what? if the bills really believe in michael turner and want to get a linebacker with our first pick.we should just serve up next years #1 pick.we can use next years money to lock up lee evans and j.p. losman.if we really get to have a solid draft this year i think we can afford to not have a #1 next year.we could be in position to say take patrick willis with our pick at#12 and then use our 2nd and 3rd picks to trade back into the lower first and get paul posluszny as well.even if it didn't go that way the point is we would have crazy options knowing we have the runningback position settled.go bills in"07

well you can take what you posted a step further.marv knew we were going to play a tampa -2.i am sure him and coach jauron sat down and drew up a 3 year game plan.marv also had the foresight to draft ashton youtboy.he did this knowing this was evaulation of talent season and that next season there would be no way we were going to sign nate when we could sign 2-3 quality players in nates place.a tampa-2 needs good safety's .we drafted whitner and ko simpson.this roster is really being transformed.i bet next year marv and coach jauron will have the roster they envisioned 2 off seasons earlier.go marv and go bills in"07.

i voted for paul posluszny even though i know we need a runningback first.paul has intangables.i think he is going to be a throwback player.he would be a great buffalo bill.

whoops my bad. i totally mis read that,but it is still nice to miami giving up draft picks to fix their quarterback situation.i am so glad that it appears j.p.losman is starting to pan out for the bills.usually the successfull teams have a settled quarterback for a five to seven year period. unless miami trades up for brady quinn they will be drafting or buying another quarterback soon.trent green is good ,but he is not a long term answer for them.go bills in"07

when i first started watching football the steelers were the sh--,and here in the hudson valley most people are giants fans.well when i was real young all i knew from the daily news and tv was the giants,but when the bills drafted bruce,and shane colan and kelly and traded for cornealus bennet i was just hooked.i liked the fact that they were the ny team and not in jersey.i have seen the bills play the jets/giants every time they play at the meadowlands since the late 80's.i have never been to rich stadium yet,but that ends this season.my girlfriend is a giants fan so we plan on going up for the december 23rd giants game and hit all the bars saturday night up in buffalo.

i would understand most fans on this site would be both. i do not live in buffalo,but i am a bills fan i live in the hudson valley. bills rangers yankees knicks i also don't hate the sabres they had a great season and they will probably play detroit for the cup.i just happen to be a rangers fan that will be happy if they win the 1st round of the playoffs. go bills in"07
