  1. The strange thing is that, until that point, the Pats were playing pretty well, and Miami was on its heels. That first TD pass (the floater) Brady threw was a beauty, I´ll concede that. But then he became Drew Bledsoe. It must be interesting for the Pats to suffer a QB breakdown much like the ones we have suffered in the past. Luckily our team is so good on D and ST teams now, we don´t need Bledsoe to do anything.
  2. The problem is that you´re right. I share the same feelings. Shaud will be fine against SF, but we need Willis against Pitt and in the playoffs to stand a chance.
  3. I heard that too - he repeated it ad nauseum. I couldn´t believe what he was saying - come on, has he actually cared enough to pay attention to a game lately? The Pats have used such tactics for quite some time now, we used it last weekend... it´s not even something new. The only thing that I can´t accept is his fat ass getting a fat check every weekend just because people believe he´s an expert. Most of the wallers here probably know more about football then Madden at this stage of his life...
  4. I´ll root for the Pats, because there´s a chance (a small one, I concur, but a small chance) St. Louis might upset NY at home in Week 17. Besides, I want Pittsburgh playing for their lives, lest some people continue to say we´re beating only bad teams and teams that aren´t giving their 100% etc...
  5. Yeah, it clearly should be in the double digits. This game will have the hottest and the sorriest team in the NFL right now.
  6. This game against SF will be the easiest game we´ve had in the last few years. It´ll be very much like the game against New Orleans on the road a few years ago where RJ looked like a NFL QB... Heck, Shaud Williams might have 100 yds on the ground against this sorry bunch.
  7. Without TO, the NFL should forfeit the NFC´s Super Bowl representative, and have two AFC teams playing in the big game. Because the AFC Conf Finals will be just that, the title game, since nobody in the NFC now has a chance.
  8. Fav moment was the blocked punt by Peters. The kid´s a monster!
  9. I agree with all you said, BF, but I don´t believe even a hard-playing St. Louis team will be capable to defeat the Jets. They just managed to get destroyed by lowly Arizona yesterday. Fact is, all NFC West teams are horrible.
  10. Same feelings here. If there´s a game I like our chances to win, it´s this one. Should be over by the 3rd quarter.
  11. Since both can´t lose, I´m rooting for a tie. At least neither win will emerge with a win.
  12. The small tiny DE is actually Dwight Freeney - one of the very best in the NFL. The kid has blazing speed. Besides, Ogden was recently injured. But it´s true, Freeney was blowing past Ogden during most of the game. Especially in the 2nd half.
  13. The only NFC teams who deserve to go to the playoffs are Philadelphia and Atlanta (barely), and maybe Carolina. All the others are deeply flawed.
  14. Both Houston (at a very cold Chicago) and Oakland won convincingly yesterday. So I wouldn´t rule out the chance they might surprise Jacksonville. But the Jaguars´ final two games are against losing squads - Buffalo, Denver and Baltimore will play at least one team with a winning record. Although I don´t think Pittsburgh is beating us at the Ralph anyway.
  15. Thanks sir for being a decent person.
  16. The Bengals troll is truly gone - although he was honest enough to recognize his team was getting beat badly on the field.
  17. Actually, we are 9-6 as we speak. NO FRIGGIN WAY this team loses at SF next week.
  18. Rudi Johnson has been able to run on us all that long. Hope the Steelers coaches are not seeing this game.
  19. SF is so bad, even if we take our B game there we will win.
  20. Reed can play. Although some here don´t like him, the kid isn´t hopeless.
  21. Bledsoe just took a stupid sack.
  22. The Bungles WRs have been VERY quiet.
