  1. Vincent will be the FS. He has said so, so it´s almost a given. McGee and Clements are the CB starters for now. Baker´s good, though. He´s a competent back-up, and will see PT in the dime package and on special teams.
  2. Ice just loves to have our attention. You either love him or hate him.
  3. And I don´t think it will happen again after seeing the play-calling yesterday.
  4. Peter King doesn´t know stevestojan about football. He´s all about hype (see Favre, Brett).
  5. Manning won´t ever win a SB - his signing bonus and ridiculous salary will destroy Indy after this season.
  6. Even if Walter Payton were our RB it wouldn´t have mattered. NE just blew by us. McGahee is 5-0 in the games we competed.
  7. We have to win our remaining games first. Then we´ll worry about the other teams.
  8. I was thinking about that last night during the Denver game. It´s refreshing to know WM is not a threat to fumble the ball every time he touches it.
  9. It does not. Actually, you´re right. He needs all experience he can get. If not, when he starts, he´ll nothing more than a 2nd year rookie. And, if we lose another game, there´s no point in letting JP on the bench.
  10. I have to agree with you that, at the Ralph, we have a very good chance to beat anybody, even at full strength. Especially a running team like Pittsburgh.
  11. We have to remember we all loved Peerless before we decided not to pay him. He was amazing in 2002, almost as good as Moulds. But he´s a bum now - think the Falcons regret giving a #2 WR all the money they gave him? BTW, who would you rather have today - Peerless or Willis?
  12. How come all threads started by Ice on this board have more than one page? If anyone else posted tha McGahee was the OPOTW according to Tom Jackson, this thread would have only a few replies. Come on, who gives a stevestojan about what Tom Jackson says?
  13. You´ll laugh, but Evans is playing now very much like Peerless played in 2002 for us. Sure hands, a threat to go deep, etc. And they´re 5´10.
  14. If the game against the Steelers were at Pittsburgh, we wouldn´t have a chance. But we are a much better team at the Ralph. And our run D is very good, and can neutralize their main weapon. So we have a chance to beat even the 100% Steelers team here, especially if we´re fighting for a playoff spot. The hardest game of all the remaining ones is at Cincy. They´re also 5-6, and it´s a road game. It´ll be the make or break game of the rest of this season.
  15. If we can´t get a 2nd round pick for him, keep him in Buffalo. If WM needs a couple games off due to injury, Travis provides us a very good RB to work with.
  16. Ice may be crusading against Bledsoe all year long, but his major point in the initial post was right: we won´t win consistently with Bledsoe. My major fear is that WM´s excellence and the nice progession the OL has made will buy Bledsoe one more year at the helm. And this would reduce our chances to be a Superbowl team in 2005.
  17. Willis, whomever called the O today, Evans, all the D players.
  18. Oh, the 2-9 felons believe they can come to our board again since they won a game against a 1-10 high school bunch. Go figure...
