  1. It has to be winnable by somebody in the division who isn't NE. Eventually Brady HAS to slow down. He's already missing 1/4 of the season. I simply cant take many more seasons of listening to that fanbase gloat.
  2. So he's chosen to run five yard in routes and get his brains mashed-in that awful offense? Best o'luck buddy. Amendola, Edelman, and Welker will all be drinking their meals by the age of 55. It's beyond me why these guys keep lining up for the opportunity.
  3. Cassel lovers? Anyone who would self-identity as a Cassel lover, should have all football cred removed immediately.
  4. He was fun when he was the other guys coach. Stong dislike... Mid-season I likely won't put it so mildly. They were glaringly unprepared, unprofessional, and underachieving as a defense last year. Like Roman, thought he ran a tight ship.
  5. Honestly I'm OK with the inexperience behind shady. Don't see RB or Bush as a need, and frankly don't want to see him in a Bills uni. I know they wanna run a lot, and we have a group of idiots that at any given time one or more of them will either be suspended or hurt, but please not Bush!!
  6. Thought he would be a week 2 signing for sure
  7. Close the thread, we have a winner What did he get, two blocks before gassing out? You would think a former pro-athlete, still only 32, could do better. As a 16 y/o I did better running from cops busting up a party.
  8. Always felt like Denny was one of the guys around the league that I could really enjoy his company. Although I'm a sports fanatic, I don't like most jocks, or their culture. Denny seemed like an exception to that. RIP Denny.
  9. Rodak, is that you?
  10. oh my... this is exactly what Chris Carter was talking about. You've got to have people in your crew ready to bite the bullet for you. If that somebody happens to be mom, so be it.
  11. Yup, this about sums it up. Except 6's may be a bit generous.
  12. Stumbled on this thread.... let me just say the Indians are winning it this year. All other predictions are simply wrong.
  13. This about sums it up. But Fitz being as smart as he is (he went to Harvard), knows this, and is bargaining every cent he can.
  14. IMO it's needs to go ala carte, like HBO has, and many others will soon follow. The fact that the avg cable subscriber pays something like $7 month for it, when only a small percentage would do so knowingly, is pretty damning. I however would absolutely pay $10 ala carte like Netflix because of the enormous amount of college football, SC (which is devolving as we know it, so more like ESPNEWS). I cut the cable many years ago, but without their app (and a few family members logins), I probably would have gone back.
  15. Pessimism was beginning to take over... I needed that.
  16. As a clevelander, the 90's Indians double the pain I also felt for the Bill's. I'm a passionate tribe fan. I was also a huge fan of the early 90's cavs teams. I've grown away from basketball, and more toward hockey (Sabres), LeBron's performance in the finals last year was the most impressive individual performance I've EVER seen in 30 years of being a sports fan. It was him, and playground level talent, and they had a 2-1 lead in that series at one point. Against that GS team was heroic.
  17. I genuinely think his best days are behind him. If he can't get 8+ sacks next year with those guys around him (effort or not), it'll be time for him to hang up his cleats. Double teams are going to be going to 1 or more guys on that line, and if I'm coaching the opposing O, Mario's the guy I dare to beat me 1 on 1.
  18. I'm glad he's gotten paid. Seems a very bright, hardworking young man. We're re-signing so many of our talented players now, compared to the previous 20 or so years of free agency. I'm sure this will frustrate some of us because of cap issues, and players who after getting paid stop trying (Haynesworth). Those things seem inevitable. But, this is what it takes to compete, bring in FA, I'm all for it.
  19. Love the pick, love the guy. For most of last season I banged my head and cursed Urban Meyer for not playing the other QB (JT Barrett). The offense was a bit boring with Cardale. Once Meyer made the switch and Barrett playex i knew instantly what Urban was doing all along. There is little that Cardale can't do. You just can't teach 6'5" 260#. Receivers come open in this league if you can buy an extra second. Cardale can do that with his size and athleticism. AND make the throw 60+ yds down field. Basically a 5th round flyer, with his upside... Seems a no-brainer
  20. This was a bit of a letdown. I like Adolphus, but he's situational, and light for the D their running. Felt their was Off playmakers available
  21. Square peg, meet round hole.
  22. True, also included in that are two OSU FB losses in 06, 07. I was fortunate enough to be at the national championship game last January, I thought for certain they'd let me down again. Now my philosophy is to be there whenever my teams are in a championship. The Bills are without question my most desired title.
  23. I'm not convinced that Mario's lack of production is reduction of skill, he turns what 31 next month? I think he's being a bit of child because of a scheme he'd rather not be a part of, and probably not liking Rex. I agree his current contract is a non-starter, but I'm not nearly as ready to give up on Mario as I am Rex. Now we rebuild/retool a defense to suit a coach that virtually no one would agree is bringing a prepared team each Sunday? I've never in all my life seen a coaching staff stand out so much, for all the wrong reasons.
