Born and lived in middle tenn for 40 years now and it was exciting when we as a state were getting an nfl team but once the titans got here I just never cared. Then came the music city debacle ( in person) and I've hated them every since!!!

Bringing in Orton was a great move! If EJ does his job he will not see the field barring injury. It just nice to know that we have a QB on the team that's a gunslinger and has thrown some 300+ yd games!!! If EJ is still stinking it up close to mid season or the front office thinks Orton could come in to save our playoff chances I'm all for it! After the preseason my hopes were down although it was JUST preseason. With the Orton signing Im optimistic that if things aren't going well we have an OPTION...

I understand that Pettine is replaceable, but what sucks is that we knew what we had in him moving forward in his second year. A new DC may never miss a beat but under Pettine they were sure to improve at least some...a new DC???

As everyone else does, I wish EJ made it a full season and lit the league up. Instead well we got injuries and average but I don't see how EJ doesn't improve in year 2. With free agency and the draft we have to shore up the oline to keep him more comfortable in the pocket and get him a security blanket wether it be a stud receiver or TE...or both hopefully.

Sounds as if most of us are seeing the same thing. At the beginning of the game I was thinking we are really gonna have to draft another QB. Then even when EJ started hitting on some passes I thought the same thing about the lofting. It seems he's trying way to hard not to miss the receivers and in return is aiming his passes.
