$6B+ for the Commanders....Terry made a good investment.

Bills are everyone's fricking Miss Congeniality. This team has a soft underbelly on each line; they play soft coverage in the secondary; they fail to exploit obvious defensive weaknesses of opponents. Just soft, soft, soft. Their talent wins them games against inferior opponents but they get their ass handed to them by the better teams who are aggressive and actually game plan to and have the talent to exploit the Bills weaknesses.

Really like Tremaine Edmunds and Luke is very, very retired. However, I bet today Luke would be able to run the D better than Tremaine ever did. That's no knock on Tremaine. Luke was one of the smartest and most instinctual players ever. God bless McD if we can find someone who can just make the calls like Luke did. Making plays like Luke did would be a huge bonus.

I think Monti Ossenfort (GM Cardinals) is over Brandon Beane's left shoulder in the GM photo taken today that was just posted. All I am saying is what I am seeing here.... -

Working against--As far back as Bryant Johnson the only TBD thread like this that has ever worked out with the player coming to the Bills was Mario Williams...and his 5 day visit with his crazy then-girlfriend.... Working for-This feels like a Mario Williams kind of deal....😃😍😉 -

Watch the acid reflux this afternoon....keep the Maalox handy. Are there any brothels in Buffalo or Fort Erie that can sweeten the Bills offer? -

Thoughts on how this could work... Ed Oliver and R3P28 to AZ for DHop and R5P33 Both players agree to new deals as part of the trade. Ed gets paid a bit. For DHop, Bills guarantee the existing base salaries for this year and next and add two years to DHop's deal. The two year addition would be $10M in guaranteed money and $10M in salary to the existing deal. This brings DHop's total comp to $54.315M with $44M guaranteed for the next 4 years - salaries are vet min in 2023, Vet Min in 2024, $2.5M in 2025, $7.5M in 2026. Gaining 2 years at essentially $10M per year is the concession DHop makes to play for a championship the next 4 years. Bills take a risk in committing $18M+in cap space in 2026 to a 34 year old receiver.... Bills gain the cap space by trading Oliver to absorb the new DHop deal this year. It worsens the cap situation for next year but its going to do that no matter what the Bills do if they want to make the deal. This likely means losing Gabe Davis next year... -
The OL needs a nickname....I say the "Beach Chair Boys"...They are mostly big pasty white guys, other than Dion, you would see hanging out on beach chairs lathered in sunscreen wearing a bucket hat...Boettger, McGovern, Bates, Edwards, Quessenberry, Tommy Doyle, Brown, Morse

He's not good enough to be a whiner. He's just an undersized starter who gets eaten up on most plays and every once in a while makes an impact play because he shoots a gap. Stefon Diggs is good enough to whine, Ed Oliver gets shipped out for cap savings and a case of athletic tape if he whines.....see ya Ed...

Sal just posted this... Jordan Poyer's deal with Bills: Signing bonus: $4M Base salaries: 2023: $2.240M (fully gtd) 2024: $4.740M (fully gtd 5th day of league yr) + $510K roster bonus ($30K/game) + $250K workout bonus each year Total guarantees: $4.5M This is about what I thought for him to come back....I am pretty surprised. Seems he likely had better offers...

I feel I need to say that I would never text Dianna Russini to "Lose my Number" if she had my number and was texting me....its a personal thing... Just makes me once again question the sanity of the soon to be Jets QB. Loved this from 4 years ago...

Love this. Poyer is this generations Darryl Talley -- the leader who fires the D up and gets them to focus. Glad he is back! My wishes are good health and a Lombardi!

He gave the Bills his heart, soul and body. As others have pointed out - his NFL career blossomed in Buffalo. It was a mutual benefit situation. Now, its time for both to move on...the only if in this situation is "if" the price dives below $5M a year it may be worth a look. That will never happen. Rosenhaus will bundle Poyer with another client to keep the floor from going that low.
