So now what team are you rooting for?
JoeF replied to BuffaloButt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wife grew up in San Fran and is a 49ers fan--and she has tolerated /even embraced Bills fandom over the years. I will be a 9ers fan the rest of the way. -
Mort seems to think that Josh to CLE is not going to happen. Chris Mortensen @mortreport 10m Tom Brady very well could have Josh McDaniels as OC again if QB works out future w @Patriots. If Patriots had beaten Titans, McDaniels would've interviewed w Giants Sunday in Foxboro. Loss altered schedule w Joe Judge going first Monday in NY. McDaniels pushed to Wed. Pushed out.

Cody Ford fined over 28k for illegal blind side block
JoeF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
***** idiots think fining the player makes a horrible call somehow right... send the guy who went to confront Jerry Coleman to Park Avenue instead...a better use of a wasted airfare. Meanwhile a helmet to helmet hit on our QB goes uncalled and un-fined. -
Eric Washington Named Defensive Line Coach
JoeF replied to elroy16's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A UFA name to watch for the Bills is Mario Addison... - Fits the culture - Very close with Coach Washington - Another Veteran Presence for the D-Line room - Consistent sack guy at OLB or DE http://www.nfl.com/player/marioaddison/2530474/profile -

Define "veteran presence in each position group"
JoeF replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good offseason topic... To your point, I think once a player gets the "C" he becomes the defacto leader at his position. So Josh and Tremaine are likely fully in the roles at their position after spending the last year as captains. As to the other positions for 2020-- there may be some holes to fill: OL - Morse TE- Smith is still under contract as is Kroft QB-Josh with Barkley as a sounding board WR-Brown and Beasley RB/FB - Gore is an UFA/DiMarco 2020 will be the final year of a 4 year deal DL-Hughes (Jordan Phillips was important to Ed Oliver this year) LB - Tremaine Corner - Tre White in year 4 Safety - Interchangeable Hyde and Poyer The Bills are strong in this category. If you look at the veteran leadership philosophy - a veteran RB; a veteran DT; a veteran LB (sounding board for Tremaine) may be targets in FA. BTW--Tremaine is going to be a monster next year. If he leaps like he did from year 1 to 2 from year 2 to 3 -- we are talking Pro Bowl.- 1 reply

VT replaced long-time DC Bud Foster with a 37 year old Justin Hamilton. Hamilton is a former Hokie player who has been back in the program for two years - the past year as safeties coach. Just thinking that Coach Fuente wanted some added experience in the D coaching room. It also helps that Teerlink has the trust factor of working with Fuente in the past. Additionally, I would imagine Hamilton is making a lot less than Foster (who was one of the highest paid assistants in College Football) so there was money to throw around to attract some high caliber coaches for the D Staff to help a young coordinator. All factors I would guess...

Thank you Bills, You'll Get There......

It does look like a daunting schedule, but the Bills will be better as well. Discounting the Jets game -- the Bills last 5 games - Dallas, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, NE and Houston was pretty daunting-- we came out 2-3 and were never out of anything. I think these last 5 games helped a lot of young players grow up. The 2017 and 2018 squads would have mixed in a couple of blow out losses in a 5 game stretch like this...we could have easily been 4-1 and the difference between 2-3 and 4-1 is weighted heavily in experience I believe. I think next year will be brutal -- but I think the Bills will be ready. -

Thanks to everyone on the board for providing their point of view and input (even when I disagree). Thanks to the Pegula's for investing in this franchise in a way very, very few could and even less would. Investments like the training center will continue to pay dividends. Thanks to Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott for creating an environment that will attract players. The Bills will get the players they want in Unrestricted Free Agency. I predict they will be very selective. They are shopping at Saks now--not the bargain aisle. The team has proven it can build depth through the draft. The future is brighter than it has been in two decades. There will be ebbs and flows...but the direction is up. -
I remember Sam getting close to JP Losman. Found this story. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/06/15/former-bills-quarterback-j-p-losman-buffalo-is-the-bomb/ Although JP didn't work out as a franchise QB, Sam certainly influenced JP's character development.

Joe Buscaglia @JoeBuscaglia 3m Remarkably, every member of the #Bills active roster is on the practice field Wednesday ahead of their playoff matchup with the Houston Texans. Comment: Levi Wallace, Ty Nsekhe, Andre Roberts and Shaq Lawson all on the field. This is truly amazing. Its been a blessed year from an injury standpoint. -
Two Ubiquiti's in a 3500 sq. foot house with two levels. Hardwired from the demarc cable modem router. Easy interface (Because that's all I can handle). Use it in our small office as well. Zero issues.

Marcus Peters gets 3 Year, 42 Mil extension

Is a complete corner like Tre White now worth north of $16 Million AAV? His cap hit this year is about $2.7 Million and $3.2 Million next year.
