  1. Did I miss where we hired Mike Ditka as our coach and GM????
  2. McCringleberry is better ? Its all about the hip pumps Every team needs a weed guy....
  3. I might have seen him on his best night...man he was on and throwing just bullets through the terrible weather.
  4. My second choice....I think he will be an excellent playmaker from RB and WR...
  5. Cole McDonald, QB, U-Hawaii September 28th, 2019 I am in the stands for a University of NV - Reno - Hawaii game. It is sleeting, snowing and windy. Cole McDonald lights up UNR with lasers into and with the wind. 25-30-312 yards and 4TDs. The kid has an arm and is accurate in the worst of conditions. He runs a 4.58 40. 6'3" 215- with a really live and accurate arm. Projected as 6-7 and someone is going to get a steal. Draft profiles say he has weak arm but that's not what I saw on a cold, rainy, sleety, snowy night in Reno.
  6. Hey TD--I meant he got a fourth for Gronk knowing he had to trade him. That's like getting picks for Bodine and Teller...and the equivalent of a high second for Cordy Glenn.
  7. Does Vince McMahon have to release Gronk from his contract? What happens to the 24x7 Championship Belt....does he still have it???
  8. Belichick is a Beane like wizard...damn....
  9. NFL.com is the official statistic not Profootball reference. Give it a rest. I'll buy you a beer if we are ever at the same place at the same time if they draft Taylor. There is no need to reciprocate if they don't.
  10. Barry Sanders fumbled less than once every 150 carries http://www.nfl.com/player/barrysanders/2502817/careerstats Emmitt Smith fumbled less than once every 115 carries http://www.nfl.com/player/barrysanders/2502817/careerstats Jonathan Taylor fumbled once every 52 carries in college. At least back up your arguments with facts instead of conjecture.
  11. Singletary didn't fumble in college in 714 carries according the cited article below. The pro game is harder. Every indication was Singletary was special when it came to ball security and he had issues in NFL. A player like Taylor who has issues already is likely to be a bigger problem. https://dawindycity.com/2019/02/18/chicago-bears-nfl-draft-devin-singletary/2/ Not only is he a big play waiting to happen, but he’s also an incredibly reliable and productive back. In three years at FAU, he ran for 4,287 yards (6.0 average) and rushed for 66 touchdowns. Despite carrying the ball 714 times, he did not fumble the ball once, an amazing statistic. Despite checking in at 5-foot-9 and weighing 200 pounds, he’s also incredibly difficult to bring down, maintaining magnificent balance through contact, as evidenced on this play.
  12. Is it okay to get really fired up during a pandemic.....cause I am...
  13. https://www.nfl.com/videos?id=10103061-7033-0000-0110-584599803acc Joe Reed is a frog gigger....Bills need a frog gigger...love this kid. Give me at least one of Chase Claypool (Canadian, eh?); AJ Dillon; or Joe Reed.
  14. The Athletic Story by Matthew Fairburn about TO is excellent. Buddy Nix's comments are gold....here's one.. https://theathletic.com/1751439/2020/04/17/reliving-terrell-owens-season-with-the-bills-and-that-key-to-the-city/ (Paywall) Buddy Nix on the signing: “I had nothing to do with it,” Nix said. “I was a national scout. They did call me at home. I remember standing out in front of my house and telling them, ‘I wouldn’t do that.’ But they did anyway. Listen, a lot of the decisions during that time were made just for what T.O. was signed for: a splash, for tickets, to be relevant.”
  15. Just did one...a couple of trades up and down...channeling my inner Bargaining Brandon Beane... 54: R2P22 WR CHASE CLAYPOOL NOTRE DAME 98: R3P34 EDGE ALTON ROBINSON SYRACUSE 130: R4P24 RB A.J. 16. He has found an unlimited supply of 2 ply toilet paper in Bill Belichick's garage?
  17. I want 6'0" 249LB 4.53 second forty AJ Dillon... https://www.nfl.com/prospects/aj-dillon?id=32194449-4c23-7740-624c-afbd67329c54 Built like a minibus but possessing enough vision and finesse to avoid being pigeon-holed as just a pure power back. Dillon is capable of handling heavy workloads and wearing down defenses, but there is a concern from evaluators that it's taken a physical toll on him. He's a disciplined runner who trusts his blocking scheme and follows his rush track. He's a good one-cut runner with below-average wiggle but natural power to create yards after contact. Dillon will find more space as he faces fewer loaded boxes as a pro, but dropping weight and adding quickness could be the difference between a future as a committee back or starter. Went for 150-plus rushing yards in almost 42 percent of his career starts Finds paydirt, with 39 career rushing touchdowns Can move piles or leap over them Absorbs contact like a big linebacker Scouts want him to get lighter to get quicker -- I want him to eat more and sprint and lift a lot....
  18. 18 Fumbles -- lots of carries but 18 fumbles with 15 recovered by the opponents. McD will be in the draft room (his basement) looking at Beane over zoom saying -- "Don't get me a fumbler" if Taylor is on the board at 54...
  19. Valid opinion....a lot can be done virtually. Here's where I differ a bit -- I think white-boarding and watching film in the same room; examinations by team affiliated doctors and viewing interactions in person with the staff are important to Beane and McDermott. McDermott has mentioned a few times that its important to him to see how a prospect interacts with the admin staff ... Some good stuff in the article from a year ago.. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2019/02/27/nfl-combine-2019-things-buffalo-bills-coach-sean-mcdermott-said/3003357002/
  20. If a team is going to lack a first rounder -- this is the year to not have one....the due diligence into picks has certainly been negatively impacted by the pandemic. On -site visits with 30 prospects are extremely valuable. The Bills conversion rate from on-site visits to drafting has been pretty high in Beane's first two drafts. A lot of health, personality, football intellect and other aspects of a player are honed and completed in that on-site visit Drafting in the lower half of the first round is always a bit speculative...this year even more so. I will take the certainty of Diggs for 4 years for that 1st round pick...
  21. Played on the same OL with Morse at MO....He graduated a year after Morse https://www.foxsports.com/midwest/story/mizzou-s-experienced-line-has-willing-leader-in-center-evan-boehm-081115?amp=true
  22. It was all downhill from here for Fouts...you just don't insult a legend...
  23. The Leap.....Tony Romo's reaction is priceless... "Ohhhhh loogie"
