People are focused on this hurting Cook's development but I think this trade is more about finding an alternative to Isaiah....Hines can run routes and get open like a slot receiver. He's been used this way since NC State.

More than his share of tragedy. Prayers up. He has had severe eye issues. This was a blurb from 4 years ago.. Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has endured eight surgeries on his damaged right eye over the last two years. While the surgeries have allowed him to keep his eye after a detached retina cause a number of problems, the reality of the situation is that his eyesight won't improve any further.

Bills did not play well last night. I would be more worried if the post-game comments were trying to hide the fact that the Bills played well below expectations on both sides of the ball (D the whole game and O in the second half). Both the McDermott and Allen post-game pressers were subdued and highly critical of the performance. Both Coach and Josh took the blame. Not going cliche, but give the team a chance to get better than what we saw last night. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a greater focus this week against the Jests. Bring on @Jimmy Spagnola week....

Kelso is more in game shape from reffing. Plus we need the Great Gazoo helmet back on the field.

I would call the Raiders about Jonathan Abram. They did not pick up his 5th year option. He has shown steady improvement this year from being a disappointment as a first rounder. He can play free, strong and come in the box on running plays. Ran a 4.45 at the combine and is a player on the rise. He is stout against the run and his tackling has improved. He could benefit from being in this defense. Would offer the Cody Ford 5th and go to a 4th if they want more. Evaluate him for a longer term deal this last half a year.

Joe Schoen is a junior wizard....Toney has not contributed at all (2 catches 23 yards) to a 5-1 start and he may blossom with the Chiefs but Joe got the most out of an unproductive asset for the Giants. The call to Beane today was "I got a 3rd and a 6th for a player that hasn't contributed at all this year." Beane said, "the force is strong with you".

My 20 year old son (junior at Kansas University) and I will be there. Our third Bills Thanksgiving sojourn in four years (Dallas, New Orleans and Detroit). This is his standard Christmas gift now. We are staying near the stadium Wednesday night to Friday and then back to Minnesota to watch his little brothers in hockey tournaments....A cool weekend.

Josh really spoils us. The Bills lived through a long stretch of yuck to get to be the envy of the league at the QB1 role. There is a lot of bad QB play in the league this year.....really bad..

Tepper is not your typical owner. He is a Wall Street guy. I think he will want at least one proven asset in return for CMC. I think Dodson and Singletary both are players that Morgan would recommend they could build around. I think the Bills view Dodson as a tweener - not quick enough or instinctual enough to take Milano's role and not large enough or with enough lateral quickness to take Edmunds role. The Bills drafted Bernard to groom into Milano's role. A replacement for Edmunds is not on the roster. Just my view.

Keep in mind that Dan Morgan knows our players well...I think we will have to put in Singletary and Tyrel Dodson (both would have to agree to an extension) not Moss and toss in this coming year's 3rd or 4th. BTW, I would do this in a heartbeat.
