  1. He was preoccupied with the desire to squash Sullivan like a bug...
  2. I got Lawyer after some hemming and hawing...
  3. I didn't hear anything - I was returning from the ticket office and was basically pulled into the tent. I had no clue what was going on (not that that's any different than my usual state... )
  4. The thing is, he didn't Let them continue doing what they did. They went to a 3-2-6 or some other such prevent nonsense!
  5. My suggested changes: Ticket Girls - these were OK to look at but added nothing, considering what we paid them. I was never even asked if I wanted to buy any tickets. I'd rather have some TBDers volunteer or go without. Raffle itself - once again I didn't even know it had started. I think that getting some kind of loudspeaker system is a must. Group water/gatorade/soda - once again underadvertised/underutilized. Are we getting too much? Should we even bother? What I liked: The Wall itself was a great addition! Thanks to Hammer for that!!!!! I see the tent/tables/chairs as a necessity. Gotta be able to get out of the sun. Of course it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. The people are what make this event get better every year - thanks to all for being such a great bunch of people to party and hang with!
  6. It was way cool meeting you, bud! B)
  7. But you're putting too much into the other team's hands. Kicking out of bounds takes so many other variables out of it - what will the returner do etc etc.
  8. Here's a little story. On Saturday night at Danny's, we were done eating and had moved down to the bar. A lady at one of the tables seemed to be watching us alot. She was pretty crocked and I don't even remember who started talking to her but it turned out that she's been lurking here for 2 or 3 years but has never registered or posted. As we introduced her around she was like "I KNOW YOU!" or "OH MY GOD THAT'S #89!" or whatever. We had never met mead107 either, but there he was with his family at dinner with us. Don't be shy, we're a pretty friendly bunch!
  9. I'm surprised nobody else is concerned about the punt itself - if Moorman is this great punter why can't he hit a corner? I think there are too many variables when you count on bounce/coverage.
  10. You may be onto something here... Of course, you have to administer the test at the gate. Then there's always the problem of people who get *more* plastered during the game. There was a guy one section over from us who: could barely walk looked like he had pissed down his leg was trying to carry 2 more beers up the steps forgot where his seats were
  11. And why didn't you stop by?
  12. No, just the ijits.
  13. Factors: 2:18 left 4th and 10 at Jax 33 - a 51 yard FG attempt is clearly the outermost limit of our kicker's leg. If he misses Jax gets ball at 41. We're ahead by 4 meaning they need to score a TD against last years' #2 D who hasn't allowed a TD all day. A good punt gives them a VERY long field to have to work with. So I'm OK with the decision to punt. But here's where it starts going wrong. Moorman punts down the middle rather than for the corner. Ball bounces Jags way and they start at their 20. For some reason we switch to a 3-4 with Ron Edwards as the NT and Jeff Posey as a DE. Leftwich has all day to throw for the rest of the game. You know the rest...
  14. Here's what I didn't see: LabattBlue at the TBD tailgate!
  15. One play... Any one play... can be the difference between a win and a loss Let's see. Moulds fumble. Villarial holding. ANY OF THE 3 FRIGGIN 4TH DOWN PLAYS ON THE LAST DRIVE!!! NOT KICKING THE FRIGGIN FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!! And it follows that any loss... any one loss... can be the difference between (and I'm not saying the Bills will be in any of these categories): 11-5 playoff bye and 10-6 10-6 division winners and 9-7 wildcards 9-7 wildcards and 8-8 home for the holidays 8-8 and another losing season We're still not good enough to overcome mistakes like these. Gotta play 60-minute mistake-free football.
  16. I sat there in the 3rd saying "why are we only up by 4 points?" We've lost that killer instinct is what it is. Remember "Hammer Time"? When you just keep pounding on 'em til you can't see the head of the nail in the wood? I do. But the team doesn't.
  17. Me being a dumbass I actually left a pair of tickets here at home. So Jack in Syracuse and I head to the ticket office to get replacements. We get to the window and I explain to them what a dumbass I am, she goes to put the request into their computer system AND IT C R A S H E S! Yes, my mere presence can bring computer systems Rosening to their knees... A complete shutdown and restart got them back up after about 5-10 minutes. It was just kinda funny...
  18. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 5.5 After the first 2 series the crowd quieted down considerably. Remember when opposing offenses could not hear themselves think for each and every play? Not a problem today unless it was an obvious big play. Then of course the moronic wave going when we were on offense, with the team pleading for people to sit down
  19. Awesome weekend as always my brothers and sisters! A pity the game ended as wretchedly as it did.
  20. Line Sam Gash up out wide to fool 'em...
  21. SoCo, baby! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
