  1. Friday 8/19, about noon at Nick's on Main Street. Time for roll call. Fill in your name if you can make it: 1. Rockpile 2. Dan Gross 3. 34-78-83 4. JÂy RÛßeÒ 5.
  2. Considered it, but I'm sure he gets several of those at each signing.
  3. Pretty well attended. I got in line at 5:40 and finally got signed at 6:15. There were still 20 or so people behind me. They passed around post-it notes so you could write down who you wanted the autograph made out to. I considered putting "EBay Bidder" as a joke but decided not to. I told him the story about how my brother and I got back to our hotel in Minneapolis after dinner the night before SB XXVI and he was the first person I saw in the lobby. He said "Oh yeah, the super secret hotel". He didn't write anything of note in my book, just "To Jay, Marv Levy" Still, it was very cool to meet the legend. That voice is unmistakeable.

  5. You mean to say I tried to pull a groin muscle playing softball last night? I'm pretty sure I didn't try, but I did it anyway...
  6. PaulinVaBeach said he wanted 4 but only bought 2. 3 people who have said they wanted the pair have backed out. So... Who wants 'em? Against my better judgement I'm still just charging face value.
  7. Hmmm. So if I get there at 5:45 I could be SOL, is that what you're saying?
  8. You must've been sitting pretty much right next to #89, Myself, & Lori. I was at the 36 yard line, 2nd row...
  9. They make them remove their belly button rings too.
  10. I sat with Lori & #89, and my son Ben. My observations: Willis watched the entire practice. He was in pads but saw no action - not even stretching. Eric King had a nice pick. They worked on no-huddle quite a bit. All the QBs were sprinting out - this is going to be a feature of this new offense big time. Saw some interesting defensive formations: George Gause as OLB and Posey with his hand down as DE. Kelsay moved inside to DT (a la Phil Hansen) in some passing situations. The D was still blitzing like crazy - I think part of it is to get Losman prepared for it. Ryan Denney came up with a tackle very far away from his DE spot - must've been quite the zone blitz. There was quite a bit of kickoff work. Most kicks hit at around the 10. Baker would've had one go OOB but it was fielded anyway. Lindell did make all of his FG tries including a 49 1/2 yarder. Duke Preston was long-snapping and dribbled one to Moorman exactly like the one in the game. Are they trying to get rid of Dorenbos? Ben Sobieski, Kevin Thomas, and Kevin Everett were all in attendance. Parrish & Lawrence Smith were not.

  14. If they have a one-item limit that might be tough, because I'm going to have him sign my copy.

  16. I think I heard Wade say that we had no shot at the playoffs anyway...
  17. But RJ left the field with the lead...
  18. Sounds like a business opportunity!
