I went to a group leaders event at the park tonight. Ate dinner right there in the locker room. Got a mini-tour.
We could rent out one of the smallest private rooms for a mere $850, which includes 36 tickets. And BTW they are as far into the outfield as you can get. And food is extra. While the Red Wings offer several other picnic/group area alternatives, I think our best bet will be to just get game tickets and do some Bills-style tailgating beforehand.
Tickets go on sale 3/18.
I was speaking more about the 4th quarter tonight - they got the ball with what, 6 mins or so left and ran it down to under 2, making 3 first downs and causing the 'Hawks to burn all their timeouts.
Let's focus, people! Jack was talking plates!
I'm in, Jack!
{aside to Jack - maybe you should retitle this thread "Bad Things in New Zealand" and start a new plates thread }
All I remember about him was that Pro Set screwed up his 1990 football card by omitting his name on the back. It was the first error card that I ever got.
Not as impressive as it sounds. They actually started in a 4-2-5 against the Oilers to try to stop the run and shoot They even tried a 3-2-6 if I'm not mistaken. Weird how Moon had all day to throw, huh? Talley & Bennett were the only 2 linebackers on the field in the first half. At halftime all they did was go back to their base 3-4 defense.
