Up until the bye, we SUCKED in the 3rd quarter. In the 10 games before the bye, we were outscored 76-30 (including being shut out 5 times) in the 3rd quarter. The only team we outscored was the Jets, when we got 2 of our 6 field goals. In the 9 games after the bye (including playoffs), we totally reversed that suckage and outscored opponents 82-35. We were never held scoreless while we held 5 teams off the scoreboard (including Indy & Baltimore in the playoffs). I wonder what caused the change? Coaches/coordinators, making better halftime adjustments & managing things better? Players/team leaders, not losing intensity during the intermission? Maybe we won the toss & deferred to get the ball in the 3rd more often after the bye... #ThingsThatMakeYouGoHmmm

Digging this thread. Heard some older stuff from Royal Blood and liked it. More recent seems a little poppier

10 unused tickets to "The Comeback"

PS - my in-laws live in Ilion/Herkimer, on Route 5. Got married at Hamilton College in '89 and spent a lot of time up there in the glorious Mohawk Valley. -
What I'm clinging to (and I'm sticking to it)
JÂy RÛßeÒ replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt that is true come September. -
Since we got Josh: Year 1 - learned lots, showed flashes, missed the playoffs Year 2 - learned lots, made the playoffs, lost in the wild card Year 3 - learned lots, made the playoffs, won in the wild card, won in the divisional round, lost in the conference championship I hope and believe that year 4 will continue this trajectory and the hard lessons learned last night, not just by Josh but by the whole team including the coaches, will be turned into even more progress and we'll go even farther. Remember that the Glory Days started with the AFC Championship loss to the Bengals in 1988, followed by the Bickering Bills in 1989. #GoBills

Not to get political, but NY Gov. Cuomo included this in his coronavirus update yesterday: -

So far I've seen USA Today, NBC Sports and NFL Gameday ask for permission to broadcast it -

He's been asked. He says he will turn around any $ directed at him and push it to cancer research. -

Kim Pegula interview on Good Morning Football
JÂy RÛßeÒ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kim had Kay on her podcast so I was wondering when this would happen. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/bills-pod-squad-episode-6-kay-adams -
I went to all 4 Super Bowls. Scalped tix for the first 2, then won the team lottery, and got company seats for the last one. Never paid more than $500/seat. Obviously we lost all 4. Doing my part and taking one for the team, I won't be going to this one. So we're gonna win. You're welcome.

Why this game will be different than week 6
JÂy RÛßeÒ replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which makes one wonder if Stills and/or Freeman will be put on the active roster -
The team that lost to the Chiefs in week 6 is very different than the one that goes to KC on Sunday, and this makes me very optimistic about how this one will turn out. 1. Situation This game was our 2nd in a row to be moved due to covid, and was played on a short week at 5 PM (following a game played 7PM on TUESDAY). Conversely the Chiefs had 8 days to prepare. This was also the week that COVID hit our roster, with most of our TEs being placed on the covid reserve list. 2. Injuries - Josh Allen hurt his non-throwing shoulder in the week 4 win over the Raiders. He only missed 1 play, but I am convinced he was hurt worse than was let on. The 2 games that immediately followed: Game Completions Attempts Yards TDs INTs Tennessee 26 41 263 2 2 KC 14 27 122 2 1 Other injured or impaired starters included John Brown, Matt Milano, Levi Wallace, Tremaine Edmunds and Jon Feliciano. AJ Klein had not yet gotten up to speed on the defense. 3. Schemes On both offense and defense we were still figuring out who was doing what with who. Especially defense. So this week WE have the extra day to rest/prepare. We are as healthy as we've been all year. The offensive and defensive rosters have all settled in and are well aware of their schemes and roles which are being executed at a high level.
