Yeah that was the Pat Toomay one. fish qb was 3rd stringer Don Strock, who completed his first 11 passes. Mercury Morris fumbled at the Miami 28 with 9 minutes left. Not only did ref Gene Barth rule no fumble (premature whistle I believe) but Toomay was flagged for brushing an official trying to recover. Don Nottingham runs to the 1 on the next play and Bulaich iced it after that.
BTW this game was the week after we beat the Cards on Thanksgiving.
12/18/88 @ Indy - Bills clinch home-field with a win. Bills go up 14-3 in the 4th, but Gary Hogeboom led the Colts to drives of 80 and 75 yards to put the Colts up 17-14 with 1:18 to play. Bills final drive ends at mid-field after a 1st down catch is wiped out by a procedure penalty and then Kelly is sacked on 4th down.
Gotta love Relentless
Well several losses to maimi during that stretch could be on the list. The personal foul against Craig Neal for dumping a running back on his head. The personal foul against Pay Toomay for nudging a ref while going for a fumble. Both of these led to late TDs.
Jan 2 1999 - Wildcard playoffs @ miami.
Bills down 24 - 14 with less than 2 minutes left. Flutie hits Reed for apparent TD but he's ruled down at the 1. Reed jumps up to argue and bumps referee who ejects him. Bills settle for FG with 1:33 left. We recover onside kick, drive down to 5 with 17 seconds left. Flutie then gets sacked and fumbles, ending the game.
Loss to Pittsburgh's 3rd stringers when a win would have ended the playoff drought belongs on the list, probably before 8 or 9.
Sad thing is, I was personally at #s 1,3,5,6,7,8 and the one I just mentioned.

Very easy to get to, near the airport. Get off 90 at Transit Rd (Depew Exit) go south to 33 W (toward airport), go 1 mile & turn left at NOCO station, course is 1/2 mile down on left.
If we have 4 or fewer I have to call them to cancel the 2nd tee time, so please let us know here if you're in.
I AM!
Ivy Ridge in Akron didn't have a time until 4:10. Rothlands in Akron had 12:30 to 1:30 open, but had 3 tournamets going on at the same time. This seemed like the best of all worlds.
With the hands team in and no wedge to block for him, taking the return back up the middle was not the best course of action either - head for a sideline.
