No problem with that - the guy deserved it for killing 3 people. Trouble is, he also killed 2 people in another county and had already been tried and convicted, sentenced to 2 life sentences no chance for parole. What's the point? Why go through the time, trouble, and expense of a second trial? So that families of the victims in Monroe County can feel the same closure that the other ones do?

They spent all day yesterday replaying Saints games, and did a show called 'Path to Perfection' which was like a year-end highlight video, but 3 weeks too soon. NFL Network for jinxing 'em (and giving a victory to the Cowboys)

I know Parrish has no value now (we're a year too late on that one), but I'd still like to see him elsewhere.

Too easy

I do not dispute that he's a physically talented athlete. However, where someone questioned whether I understand football... I question whether McKelvin understands football. I don't see him as a very bright guy. Or a very team-oriented guy. I do see a relationship between the way the secondary is working as a unit now and the fact that he's no longer involved. I'm perfectly happy with the backfield we have now. McGee & Florence on the corners with Corner as a nickle-back. We have an abundance of talent at both safety positions with Whitner able to move to nickle without much (if any) dropoff in case of injury. McKelvin is one of the few players on our roster that other teams would want - I think we could get more for him than just about anyone else here and it really wouldn't hurt us all that much.

I do not, and if anyone (after Parrish) is trade bait it'd be him in my book.
