  1. DAMN! There's never a terrorist around when you want one.
  2. Whatever you say, Yassir.
  3. He's the Bills beat writer for the AP...
  4. You have to know what it is to know if it's worth it to you. While camp might be a highlight for you, it's a drudgery for the players. The team practices while you watch. They don't owe you anything, they don't put on a show, they don't move their drills so that people have a better view. Half of it is in fact stretching and individual drills/fundamentals. Some days you might get lots of special teams work - punt and kick coverages. Days before games you get less intensity. If you go with smaller kids be prepared to watch very little actual practice as it's dull for them. No announcers, no scoring, no cheerleaders, no jumbotron, no Billy Buffalo. There is a kids game area with some of the activities they have in the field house before games. There is some basic food with burgs/dogs/pizza. The team store is there. But it is a more intimate look at the team - you can meet players at the fence and actually see their faces/talk briefly. You can see/hear the coaching that goes on. So if you have an interest in the Xs and Os it can be very cool. The players can hear and sometimes will react to your shouts from the stands.
  5. It's like a neighborhood that's nice but used to be really nice and is now in decline. The people who are just getting there say 'it's so much better here' but the people who have been there say 'it used to be so much better'. Some move away, some stay and hope it gets back to how it was. And some die.
  6. This is good to know. Welcome
  7. That panda-kidnapping mofo? Man, I'm glad he's gone.
  8. They're all words I haven't used yet today.
  9. They are held before practice - usually 6:30 til 6:50 or so, then the players go to the practice field. If you want to get a "star" player, you should get there earlier to get in his line - camp opens and busses start at 5. Note that they don't do this before every night practice.
  10. That's kind of the point, isn't it - to make it something to be avoided?
  11. Island Valley is a little 9-hole course on Rte 31F less than 5 miles East of SJF. It's a short course (2700 yds) par 35, but its challenge comes from elevated tees and/or greens. A very low-key course.
  12. DAMN! Last year Sutherland was an undocumented lot and much easier to get to.
  13. I read this last night - actually sounds like Android is worse than iPhone for this.
  14. Jim Braxton Bobby Chandler Reggie McKenzie Jamie Mueller Jeff Wright Phil Hansen Chris Spielman San Gash Takeo Spikes
  15. MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm plates...
  16. Yeah, i think that's right
  17. I watched my DVD of the 31-0 win over the pats* today and ordered night practice tickets. Can't get here soon enough!
  18. Apparently that quote came from Lou's time as HC of the Broncos, not the Bills. Whitey was Bill "Whitey" Dovell, their O-Line coach at the time. Funny thing - if you Google "They're killing me, Whitey", this very thread is listed on page 2 of the results
  19. "They're killing me, Whitey, they're killing me!"
  20. • "We're basically out of it." — Wade Phillips in 2000, before his 7-6 Bills lost, 44-20, to the 7-6 Colts, who went on to make the playoffs.
